  1. 2017/6-11/C/Mark Kostelac from Bradenton, FL (IMG) committed to Akron, per a close source. @VerbalCommits
  2. Line down to -8.5. Must be money coming in on BG
  3. The Zips are 4 point favorites tomorrow. Seems a little low to me
  4. Link http://gozips.sidearmsports.com/watch/?Live=181 Not sure why it's not on main site
  5. Good article detailing the situation at Buffalo http://buckyandsully.buffalonews.com/2015/04/10/hurley-had-change-in-heart-after-ub-mishandled-situation/
  6. @GeorgeThomasABJ: Murmurings about Rhodes Arena that @ZipsMBB center Pat Forsythe could play against the NIU Huskies tonight.
  7. Zips open -4 now down to -2.5. I'm calling it Zips 60-53
  8. http://www.prephoopsohio.com/news_article/show/485044?referrer_id= Story on commitment
  9. Former Zips commit and current Villanova guard Dylan Ennis was named the MVP of he Legends Classic as he led his team to wins vs. VCU and Michigan.
  10. It looks like Elijah Pittman(6-9, 220lb leading scorer, 21.4ppg) was indefinitely suspended about a month ago. They don't have much effective size otherwise. Their tallest guys who gets significant minutes are 6-7 and 6-9, although 6-9 guy only averages about 16 minutes per game. Zips should have a decided height advantage at all positions but PG, but that could change with Quincy running point. i would think this is a game that Tree should dominate
  11. That real time rpi #36 is that websites own power ranking. Real time rpi lists the zips actual rpi at 46.
  12. It looks like Gallego is probably gone. Portland just traded for his homegrown rights. Maybe Caleb will tell him that he's better off staying at Akron for a year.
  13. Obviously Dambrot is 2-4 in championship games but the first one of those was a loss at the buzzer on a fluke shot to Miami. If not for that he's 3-3
  14. The NCAA games in Columbus are at Nationwide Arena, which is not the home of the Buckeyes. Ohio State can not play there because they are the host school. If there were another Div I school in Columbus, they could host and Ohio State would be eligible to play there. Not sure of the host in Pittsburgh this year, but in the past, Duquesne has hosted and Pitt could play in Pittsburgh.
