If your playing a team with a QB that has "NO" game experience and their top receiver and running back are leaving....I say hell yeah we have a shot. It might not be a good one but we got one.

I am still not to concerned, even one of their own fans said, JD's career at Akron is far from stellar. Personally I think that would be a lateral move, unless he just wants to go back to where he is from I think his place is here..for awhile, and lastly....what made you look at CSU's message board?

I hate to be negative but you guys are really reaching...we had our chance, quit leaving your destiny in someone else's hands and take care of business yourself. Bottom line we should have beat Central Michigan, Cinci, and atleast played a closer game against Can't! Period.

Maybe he is pissed he is hurt? Maybe he is pissed he is losing his position to a walk-on? Maybe he feels guilty that if he was playing our team could kick some field goals instead of going for it on 4th down, which in turn could have changed the outcome of every game except Can't? Who knows why he has all this built up agression?

They shouldn't be mad, if they were performing they wouldn't have lost their position or spliting time. What poor sports. Personally i wouldn't want them back if they will quit on you about spliting time they will quit on you in the game.

Good point, am I am not blaming Luke for the loss, and I am not saying his performance was a fluke but how many 400 yards passing games has he had? The most important thing is we have no running game, maybe the back that ran in DK's place for North Texas, needs to get more reps? 29 yards is awful!! All I am saying is if you are a D1 athlete I should have to coach you up on how to tackle and catch!! I should be coaching you on how to run better routes and how to read defenses...you learn the fundamentals in pee wee and those that have solid fundamentals or in rare occasions incredibly athletic get scholarships to D1 schools. My brother played O line for years and he said whenever you have that many o linemen jumping offsides it is usually the result on one thing! Fatigue cause they are not concentrating and are in a hurry to get out of their stance.

I am not sure how I feel about this topic, I agree that..1. We have no leaders out there! But just maybe the leaders are freshmen who are afraid to speak up!2. Poor tackling and catching being the fault of poor coaching preperation..mmm I can't agree with that because tackling is a "Want to" or "Instinct of being hungry within" a coach can teach you techniques on tackling and catching but I am sorry if you are a D1 athlete you should make these plays.3. I am not gonna jump all over Harvey cause he seems to be the only one who consistently makes plays everyone has there bad days, if this is it for him I can accept that.4. Getsy is an average QB knowing that one of three things needs to happen, incrediblly easy to execute offensive schemes, incredible offensive line blocking, or lastly make that average QB a good QB! - Take your pick coaching staff!!!!

Also anyone who is a competitior believes he will start, especially if he is a D1 prospect. Know one goes to a school thinking they are gonna sit the bench for 3 years.

NC State also has a different QB now, We hurt ourselves by not beating Central and Can't. We could be looking at a 25-35 national ranking.

We do try, it's just right now kids our choosing schools off of what they "have done" and not on "what they are doing" Do I think Akron is a better school than Syracuse? Absolutely...but it is in a BCS conference with more exposure! If we are a little more consistent we will be ok.

#3 - I have been saying this ever since we drove all over NCState's Defense, they may not be a good team but they have faster team speed then any team we will play the remainder of the year! We didn't lose to Penn State as bad as we lost to Can't - So that tells me we were either not ready to play or they had a great game plan. But I really think we should go no huddle!!! Keeps teams on their heals.

I disagree I am not gonna say outcoached....Do you honestly think JD has told them to chill out on the holding...yet we still had way to many holding calls....Both Jabari and the TE's dropped passes....Getsy started throwing to Harvey wven when he was double covered....WE DIDN"T LOSE THIS BAD TO PENN STATE!!! This falls squarely on the players in my opinion.

Wow our expectations just went from 11-1 / 10-2 to hoping we have a winning season. Today the entire team looked like shit! This is not the same team I saw against North Texas or NC State.

You know what 4th and goal and Harvey catches the ball on the one yard line......I can't even be mad at him cause of the heart he has showed today. It is obvious he is the only one who came to play..
