My H.S. grades were so bad I could not haxe gotton into any college w/o open enrollement, The USAF taught me how to study, because in Tech School, they didnt care if you got thru the course or no, if you failed there was always the Air Police or Food Service. That's REAL motovation, and my lack of wok ethic was cured.I think open enrollement is mostly a good thing.
The MAC has done away with Media Guides, pre season lunchs etc.. The MAC's throwing in the towel in regards the previous proves to me that they are preparing to surrender re competing with the big dogs, because the big dogs are not doing likewise and, by default, the MAC is giving up competing with the BCS conferences.Anybody else see it that way?
G. Burke's wife did not care for the weather in NE Ohio  -- Graig loved it here and his intrest would probsbly be high but not his wife's. What do youn's think about Hunter staying long term?
Zipper & uakronkid let's tick off all the Wadell haters out there, you are both in the same corner as I am, he told me he would stay long term if he replaced Mike. Mike W. never did anything but be true to hus word with me.
What bothers me is that, eventually, someone will screw up and we'll end up with a Bobinski or Adams. The search committee has done a good jobthe past two choices. What we need is an AD that wants to come in and grow with the University and stay long-term like Dr. ProenzaMack and Mike did good jobs but stability is important to the alums. athletes, staff, and coaches.
It's Dan Peters from THE osu, for those that don't know/remember, he followed Huggins at Walsh then came to U A as asst to Crawford for one season, went to St. Joseph, IN, then to YSU. Cincy, THE osu. Welccome back, Dan.
That ranking leaves me cold, my HS record was poor, 4 years in the military and the Tech School I attended prepared me for college.I was a part time student and earned a BA & MA over 10+ years. Using the accounting method the Dispatch reported on I never attendedTHE U of A!
