It's about what I expected. somewhere from 11 to 14. Figure 3 or 4 just for A&M being at home with a 600 game winning streak or whatever .. so Vegas sees it as a 8 or 9 point game on neutral ground.This probably has less to do with the line setters as it does with the action the past few weeks. Niagara was a 1 or 2 point favorite Sunday and left with a double digit loss. Things like that get noticed by the guys buying the slips.I think basketball folks respect the Zips because they've got the makings of a very solid club. As we're watching, they're putting it together. 2nd half Sunday a good example. It's early December and they're not doing it for 40 yet .. but it's coming. Zeke will be up and down for a little while more, but soon it will be more up than down .. and then it's game on. B) B) Go Zips!!

Probably SV SM .. but the need for the fallback plan is diminishing by the hour. The final game on the LJ pitch for 2009 will be over tomorrow. No worries on field conditions at the moment. And based on the quoting / job specs floating around, it would seem to me that Tom & Louis are handling the drainage and turf issues in time for the Zips to begin the defense of their NCAA title in August. The man does have a point there. Now if the fallback is being the dominant team in a bad conference (see Boise St.), OK .. but you'd have to believe the vision looks outward and upward from here with that type of investment.Go Zips! B)

Someone mentioned it the other day. I think it should be more used in pro sports: give out attendance based bonuses on top of the base salary!So the guy's base is $375k and there's another $850k - $1M available for the staff.Add into the kitty $2 for every ticket sold as a bonus. Split between the HC & the staff. If the team does well and draws 120,000 fans .. that's another $250k in bonuses .. team does spectacular and draws 150,000 fans .. $300k in bonuses to go around.Go Zips!

I think it's a great idea .. and I think it's nice the way that Tom continues to make an effort to keep the Nation up to date and communicate. Holt will be a good player for them. Sherman should probably carry the load in the backcourt this season, but Holt will be an impact player soon.

I didn't watch the feed, but from listening between technical difficulties and scanning the stats / box / play by play .. I think they had a much better second half than first. Defensively, they caused a bunch of turnovers, and on a few possessions offensively, there appeared to be some cohesion develop late .. grasping at straws. Maybe the most important point ... total agreement here. Funny you should mention DT. I've been thinking that Humpty plays a little like him at times. We need to stop that now. And keep Tarver as far away from this team as possible. The last time he was around was also the last bad team the Zips had. The Zips need to work together as a team, they're not doing that right now, on either end of the floor. Play hard, play smart, play together. There should be no black holes. An incredible stat. There are a few of them in the box score:The Zips turned the Wolfpack over 25 times.NC St. took a total of 9 shots in the second half. That's the kind of half that the Zips needed to force them into to make a game of it .. but unfortunately:In the second half, the Zips shooting percentage DROPPED to 30% .. while shooting 27 times. They had 3 times as many looks at the rim as NC St .. and still lost the half by 3 points.Attendance: 416: Was this game in Ypsilanti? I'd like to find the guys that want to play together on Defense and avoid the 1 on 1 with early shots in the shot clock on Offense.
