Sure seems like an example of fan participation that might just help bring Joe and Suzy Akron and their kids out to the JAR a little more often! ("Hey! That was cool! When's the next game?") I enjoy Steve's calls of the game although I have to admit that with all of the streaming and TV available now, I don't listen as often as I used to. I like the emotion and attachment to the team Steve infuses into his calls of the game. The Cavs can keep Joe Generic they brought in to replace Joe Tait. Steve and Joe Dunn are part of the Akron Blue and Gold and I'd like to see them stay as long as they continue to enjoy doing the calls.

Just spent a few minutes talking to former UA center and alum Steve Swiech. Still an outstanding individual who still has a place in his heart for Akron. In town the last couple of days for the Alumni Night tonight. Finishing up his last semester of air traffic controller school and is top in his class. Fiscal cliff could hit the FAA budget pretty hard but he isn't worrying about that right now. Always good to see him here - will always be an Akron Zip! Women looked really good in taking down Ball State tonight.

I usually head to streaming on mac-sports.com and pipe it to my TV. Video, audio and overall production quality vary by school but it sure beats the way it used to be.

OU appeared to do just that last night in their 27-point win over Ball State in Muncie.

Need OU to help us out by beating Belmont. Nice draw location-wise too ... Nashville, TN vs. Fargo, ND (return game there next November or December - yuck).
