Neither was Can't and OU at the MAC tourney after what had just happened to our point guard situation. The coaches and players found a way to overcome that adversity and our next job is to do the same given the style of play VCU employs. This staff and team are special. It may or may not work out the way we hope on Thursday but I'm certain our Zips will give it their all. I like the draw and the challenge and absolutely love this edition of the Zips!

I sure would like to see someone like Walsh or McAdams sharing point duties. Both can shoot the 3 and both seem to have the ability to play within themselves to limit turnovers. Leaving the point to Carmelo and DeJi worries me. The show must go on. Very disappointed but looking forward to watching our guys step it up to administer another beat-down of Can't. Go Zips!

Last night's game vs. OU was a litmus test - can this team win games that matter regardless of location? Are they ready to finish off the MAC and maintain the focus and team play to move beyond the first round of March Madness?
