I don't like it...because that means that we have no chance of hosting an Elite Eight game now... Wake fans looked down their noses at us two years ago when we were the only non-ACC school in Cary. They were also pretty uppity when they traveled to Akron this year. I'm just not a big fan of the ACC. You obviously had the bigger picture in mind!

.... so, what's the logic behind sending Frenchie to cover this crap when he could be in Valparaiso to broadcast a couple of basketball games? My order of preference would have been having him cover Valparaiso last night, Duquesne tonight, and SMU tomorrow from Dallas. Our second string broadcast team could have covered "football" today. Oh well. Incredible how there has been NO improvement from game to game since iCoach got here.

Someone please explain to me why UA isn't setting something like this up in the student union (one of the many open seating areas, theater), JAR, or field house?

Soccer America College Cup opening round recap I find the attendance numbers from around the country pretty interesting. Kudos to our fans given the temperature and wind chill last night.

The game felt like a Browns/Steelers game. It's a weird feeling not to care anymore. We just got it handed to us on our own field and it doesn't bother me - something is really wrong with that. Typing this from the student union and very much looking forward to heading over to the Hiram/Akron bball game in a few minutes. Go Zips.

We played and beat Indiana at home last year 2-1 in the third round of the College Cup.
