Our TBA game better be against a D-IA opponent! It looks bad on the team and university when we bring in a low profile D-IAA team and anhialate them. Not only that, but it kills fan interest as well.Should I mention that Can't's only win last year was against a D-IAA school?

HS kids reply to something as being "cool" shouldn't be a motivation for changing our logos. The typical high school mentality of things being cool and being concerned with poularity is not relevant in the real world. College sports is rooted in tradition, which they would have no clue about.If we continue to win and improve our stature, then any logo we put on our helmets will be regarded as "cool."

Way to go Romeo...Zips made it respectable, other than a really close finish or a win, that's all we can ask for...they didn't give up. That shows we have a lot of character and short of winning, that's the most important thing for earning respect.

Not bad considering we didn't rebound, shot a low percentage, and Romeo was the only one who stepped up and played really big tonight.Good season guys!...Next year will be even better!...Fear the Roo!

Looks like Travis is about the only one that has brought his A game tonight. I just want to see it be respectable at the end...let's close it to within 10.

Tonight, the difference is rebounding and 3 pt shooting %. We could really use Jeremiah Wood tonight...Hopefully, that's a big way in which the team will improve next year.

I've been saying all game that if we heat up, its going to be a close finish!

If the Zips can heat up shooting, they'll make it close.

We were down against Can't and Temple at halftime and didn't play a good first half...if we come out of half much the same as the first, we're going to have problems...if not, it could be very competitive down the stretch. Whatever the outcome, I want it to be respectable.

I'm well aware of the bureacracy associated with NEOUCOM. Its just a waste to have a medical school away from the clinical and research centers that are found in the City of Akron. Thus, clinical affiliations are weaker than they should be and the school is an underachiever in research. As it is, NEOUCOM is a waste of tax dollars.

The "West" Campus should also be the site of the medical school! NEOUCOM is a joke where it is now!...But yes, I like the idea of combining the two schools.

I'm a graduate of UA and a current PhD student at Pitt. Although I love Pitt as a school, I'll be rooting for Can't because of how their winning could help the MAC and in turn, UA. I think Can't will win as Pitt is notorious for being upset in the NCAA Tournament. Can't's depth and great defense will give Pitt problems.

Just thought I'd ask the nation which MAC teams they think are: 1) deserving of an NIT bid and 2) which teams will actually get NIT bids.My response: 1) UA, Miami, and Toledo are worthy of bids in that order...UA deserves a first-round home game and 2) only UA will get a bid and we will be on the road. Such a stigma is an unfortunate reality of being a member of a mid-major conference.

Believe it or not, I agree with AntonioGates and think that we definitely deserve to host a game this year for the NIT!...seeing as we were undefeated at home this season, I like our chances in the first round if we get a home game.
