This could have been a great night for the league, but in the end, CMU was the only team that made it close and they beat themselves. Let's hope Saturday is more lucrative!

How about a cheerleader of the week feature? They don't get any publicity because they don't have player bios on the web and aren't featured in a roster. Write a little bit profiling one every week. Pictures don't hurt either!

Our starting goalie is a stud! There is no way he should take heat for allowing 5 goals. 2 were on penalty kicks where the goalie has virtually no chance.

I totally disagree. That game against Can't is pretty much a home game for us anyhow. And we should have a little bit of momentum after possibly beating one BCS team (most likely NCSU, but we have a shot against PSU) and winning the other two games (CMU and North Texas). I don't think there is any way Can't will beat us. Yes, we will also win against Cincy.

It sounds like anything that could have gone wrong did. I figured this game would be decided by one goal either way. I wonder if UCSB is really that good or if we help them out and played that bad against a team that is just respectable and not elite. I was very frustrated following the game at work on the gametracker. Let's hope the team bounces back against Davidson.

All but one analyst chose NIU to win the MAC Championship. The other chose Akron. At what point is a drug test necessary?...When a supposedly respectable "expert" selects Can't to win the MAC East in football. I don't know, but would love to. I think we have a great shot at the national championship the next two or three years and would hate to miss most of the games because I live in Pittsburgh. Given modern technology, I should be given the option to participate as a fan from afar.As always,

After further thought and keeping in mind the very similar Julie Wright scenario, I can't help but draw an analogy between a new dominant lion coming into a pride and killing the cubs that aren't of his birth line.
