He was a great qb whose career was shortened by all the injuries he sustained. The 10 concussions he suffered during his 12 year carreer are an awful sacrifice to ask of anyone. Thankfully he still had the sense and the super bowl rings to retire. I hope he doesn't have complications in retirement as a result of those injuries. I believe we want the same thing although you show some real disdain toward the Alumni and friends of the university. My parking has gone from $18 to $525. What happened to 19-524? I believe it's a mistake to change the requirements so drastically. Is it better to have 500 people paying $100 or 100 people paying $500? What they now call lot 1 isn't paved but apparently now requires the "increased fee". They also leave before the game ends. When our group would get to our cars, the lot was usually empty. That's when the post tailgate party would begin.

Unfortunately, this was a calculated move to sell season tickets before the fallout over the parking fees. I've never had to purchase the two seperately. Not just last year, but many years. That's where the best tailgating at the bowl (in my biased opinion) took place. At the thanksgiving blizzard game we had 20 people and still served hot food. The university has made exceptions for ticket holders in sections 4 and 5 who should donate to the zef (zip extortion fund). Shouldn't they be expected to "support the team"? Why are they allowed to keep their seats? They are stealing prime real estate for all the zip fans lining up to buy those seats.

Who thinks this way? The season hasn't started and a fan doesn't want to win the MAC championship? The MAC champion plays in the MCB and the GMAC gets a MAC or WAC team to play a CUSA team. There could be a scenario where the MAC champion plays in another bowl but has that happened? I want Akron to play in the MCB untill the league kicks us out from sheer frustration. msopher has had too much atmosphere, someone give him oxygen. ps. Why doesn't the mac champs emoticon work? It sends out errors.
