From what I've heard, in recruiting they used to give up on some prospects that were being recruited by the "big boys", but now they stay in there in hopes they will snag one away. Sounds like "fighting back" to me!

I hope it's a combination of the problem at C and the coaching staff not really wanting to let him show what he can do. Also may have to do with the rotation of lots of WR's & TE's to see what they can do. dunno.

I was checking out the UA "Future Projects" web pages when I noticed in the "Greek Village" plans they showed tennis courts (item #16 in the plans - future tennis courts?) I wonder if this will be done separatly, part of the Greek Village project, or as part of the football stadium project. The map indicates the current surface lot SE of the nat would be the tennis courts.

There was a special on the upcoming college and high school football season on channel 5 (ABC) last night so I tuned in to see what it was about. Of course the only college that was mentioned was Columbus University. Is there a fence along the turnpike that prevents Cleveland TV stations, the ONLY stations in the area (at least on free over-the-air antenna TV), from coming south and covering D1 college sports????

Actually I was looking at the current info on the county recorder's web site. It should be fairly accurate (within 30 days or so since that's how long it usually takes to close on property).

seems to me that anyone wanting to buy a pair gen adm of tickets ($110) would help the university more if they bought the family pack ($99) and never used the "children's" tickets... they'd save money and it would add to the "paid attendance".

last I checked on property tax map (last month?), there were still about half of the houses and a few other businesses in the project zone yet to transfer.

stadium naming rights have already been bought (for $5 mil) by a local organization (a current supporter... also has their name on the Aeros scoreboard)

gozips.com did say they got a new ticket system and that tickets will be able to be purchased online in the near future. They probably lost the orders when they switched to the new system.

As long as they are obeying road laws, respect others, don't obstruct their own visibility, etc. I wouldn't think that would be a problem. Wouldn't be much different than the Browns cars I've seen coming from their games (Bone lady etc.) or THE University of Columbus (Columbus State is an actual community college) fan cars decorated up.
