You have yet to prove they don't compete. They play each other almost every year in soccer. Akron competes with them every year with trying to get local high school students to chose Akron instead of OSU. Akron competes with OSU in the ABJ. Akron competes with OSU in Academics. Akron competes with OSU for media attention. Akron competes with OSU for fan support. Akron competes with OSU for recruits in basketball, football, soccer, baseball, track, volleyball, etc.Can you tell me that everything above is wrong??? We need to ditch the MAC for Conference USA. They get better publicity, and more bowl games. Some may rank the MAC higher, but if we left the MAC for Conference USA, Conference USA would clearly be better. Toledo is the MAC's only other power Mid-Major.

Getsy gets sloppy every once in awhile. The great thing about him is he knows when to turn it on. He's clutch. Although, he could have dipped a shoulder and ran in like a man for a td on that last drive. He looked like he was scared of getting hit and fell short. Negative things are going to be said about Akron's competition. A lot of my comments are from you and I going back and forth over this. Fyre is the guy for this Offense. The Browns would do a lot worse with a pocket quarterback, a sack every play. They need a quarterback that can move around and avoid the 3 or 4 man pass rush that gets in because the 0-line is as good as Can't's. Fyye threw some solid passes.
