  1. Did I seriously just watch us get trounced by Indiana VFW, I mean IPFW in their high school gymnasium? What an absolute embarrassment. Like I have been saying all year.....we are fundamentally awful. Dambrot needs to step up his game this off season.
  2. Back and to the left....back and to the left....back and to the left
  3. Nice to see so many of you that confident about the Marshall game, but they may be the best team on our schedule. That is going to be a very tough game to win. I dont believe we have much of a shot against PSU or Pitt, but every other game is winnable. I feel a 7-5 season with wins over Howard, EMU, Miami, Ohio, Buffalo, Umass and Cant.
  4. Offensively, we are just a horrible team with too many one trick ponies and zero creativity with scheme. The zero creativity with scheme has to do with the fact that we have a team full of one trick ponies. Our offense is rendered useless without Kretzer and McAdams because teams simply trap every post entry taking away our inside game (Treadwell, Forsythe and Big Dog) and forcing us to play outside in. We have zero 3 point shooters and nobody that can penetrate and create off the dribble. We have a good post player or two, but they have no chance with our 2 best 3 point shooters out of the lineup. Teams will continue to trap the post entries and we are screwed. The reason Deji has been the most successful is because he is the only guy right now that has consistently hit an outside shot and has shown the ability to take advantage of the double teams inside and take the ball to the rim.
  5. I'm not sure this team wins another game this year. Maybe BGSU, but that was a struggle at full strength.
  6. Masterful play designing. Wow.
  7. I wasnt joking.
  8. Worst zips team in a decade. This is absolutely painful to watch. I don't want anyone to say anything about talent. This team doesn't have much.
  9. I agree 100% about Jamel Turner. We need help at DE and that is where he really excelled in HS. Get him to 235 and cut him loose on the QB.

  11. I really hope you dont mean Big Dog. I have pretty much given up on him being a really good D1 basketball player. He is too big and WAY too slow. He labors just to move. It is tough to watch.
  12. That, and he was tearing it up in the spring.
  13. Coach Bowden said that we did not go after running backs because we had 5 on scholarship and something like 11 wr's. They didnt target them. He said if they had a sure fire stud they would have taken them, but they didnt recruit those areas very hard. He also said he was keeping that one scholarship open for a line player. He thinks they need another guy.
  14. He flipped to Minnesota a week or so ago.
  15. They must be counting Dennis in this years class. I am also wondering if Bernard Willingham is going to sign, but just couldnt today. He may have clearinghouse issues, etc... who knows?
  16. So who are we guessing are the other 2 besides Junius? I cant imagine we are giving a longsnapper a scholarship, so I am crossing off Glover.
  17. He is enrolling around next years signing date. I assume he verballed for next years class??
  18. I just saw that on a Umass board. Nice!
  19. Anthony Chiang‏@Anthony_Chiang3 hrs Glades Central CB Bernard Willingham, an Akron commit, is not scheduled to sign NLI today. #PBCrecruiting Not sure if he is still a commit and will sign at a later time?? They also dont list Kyron Brown as someone from Boynton Beach expected to sign today. I dont know what is going on with him either.
  20. I am about 90% sure Boxen is being recruiting as a DT.
  21. The latest on Kyron Brown from Anthony Chang... Darrian Josey, WR, Boynton Beach Anthony: Josey is committed to Hawaii, but I don’t think it’s going to stick. He visited UMass with teammate Kyron Brown over the weekend, and he enjoyed the trip. Again, I believe the allure of playing with his good friend, Brown, gives the edge to UMass. The fact that Josey didn’t close his recruiting process after committing to Hawaii shows that he still had doubts. I’ll pick UMass for both Josey and Brown, an Akron commit. - See more at: http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/highschoolbuzz/2014/02/04/recruiting-our-predictions-for-national-signing-day/#sthash.ZaHWQwAd.dpuf
  22. A little update on Jamal Baggett.....this is from the Army site on rivals. He would be a great pickup late. So where is Baggett leaning? "It's kind of neck and neck right now, but I won't lie and that the University of Akron is where I'm kind of leaning towards now," he added. "However, it's going to be a rough 48-hours for me." - See more at: http://footballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1605128#sthash.YaRBCkvR.dpuf

  24. Anthony Chiang ‏@Anthony_Chiang Feb 2 2014 Boynton Beach CB Kyron Brown enjoyed his visit to UMass. He will decide between Akron and UMass.
