It's 100% on Tod. They had 6 guys. Unless one of those 6 is LeBron James, they were bound to struggle to stay in and win games at the end. In game coaching aside, his roster construction deserves the most blame. It's similar to 2023 & 2024 when Groce failed to surround Freeman with legitimate shooters; we criticized him for the ceiling that was automatically put on the team.
