  1. Love that dribble drive layup by Big Stank.
  2. Yale's resume isn't impressive thus far. Their hype is still a carry over from last season, although they will still end up being the class of the Ivy League most likely.
  3. As the AD of a school whose football program is currently experience academic hardship, it's an easy line to throw in to show that academics are still a priority (even if every common-sense-having human being on this earth knows that academics haven't been a priority in revenue-generating athletics for years across the country).
  4. Some thoughts... - Love that Goodrich took the time to craft this letter. Not sure I recall any recent ADs doing something like this. - I do wonder if the importance of the next 8 weeks silently refers more to JoeMo's decision rather than the other categories mentioned. Fundraising is really the only other crucial component to the next 8 weeks. The NCAA has a new 1-window transfer portal from Jan. 2-16 which only means players have to be in the portal by the 16th (recruiting doesn't end on the 16th). Talent hasn't been the issue, at least not nearly as big of an issue as coaching and financials have been. Every school is going through talent overhaul YOY. It comes down to financials and coaching as the key denominators between programs. - I re-read Goodrich's bio. Something that stands out is he negotiated the JMA Wireless Dome naming rights agreement at Syracuse and the Yuengling Center naming rights deal at South Florida. If I'm not mistaken, the football stadium's naming rights deal ends within the next 5 years. I wonder if he'll be here to negotiate another naming rights deal for his resume. That could be a big step in the financial health of the football program.
  5. Troy lost in 3OT to USC on a buzzer beater 3. Edit: I found the highlight. What's worse is Troy should've won but the receiver on the outlet pass lazily attempted to secure the ball. USC stole it with 6 seconds left, passed it up the court with 3 seconds left, and the guy took 2 dribbles before getting the shot off at under .6 seconds. Brutal.
  6. @Z.I.P. 11:30am today for you if I'm not mistaken. You're welcome, you lucky, Hawaii-living son of a nutcracker. 😂
  7. WVU completes the comeback in the 94th minute.
  8. WVU - once down 2-0 in this game - just tied it at 3-3 with 3 minutes left in regulation. Great night of soccer.
  9. UNC advances in PKs. UNC missed one in sudden death, saved the following UNF attempt, made their next attempt, then UNF put one off the crossbar.
  10. The halftime show of the Cuse game said the same thing. Pathetic arrogance.
  11. Injuries aside, his team was incredibly undisciplined Tuesday night.
  12. Notre Dame just took a 1-0 lead 5 minutes into the 2nd half on an own goal header by Michigan.
  13. Touche. Hofstra up 2-0 on Cuse with 18 minutes left in the 1st half. WMU up 1-0 on Clemson with 15 minutes left in the 1st half.
  14. Just sent this to some people who should have answers. I'll report back when I hear back.
  15. Clemson's stadium is excellent but their lighting sucks. Same with Michigan's stadium. Use some of the billions of dollars the football teams are making to get proper soccer pitch lighting. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk about poorly lit college soccer stadiums.
  16. Update: quad box now for the multiview. Heck of a quad box, too. ND/Michigan Hofstra/Use UNF/UNC WMU/Clemson
  17. Every game after Ianello was hired became a funeral for Akron football.
  18. Seton Hall should have to start down a goal for having their pitch be the softball/baseball outfield. What are we doing... Side note: multiview on ESPN+ is nice. I have 3 games up and was able to choose a view that doesn't have the Elon game. That game looks like someone is using a Harry Potter movie filter on the stream.
  19. Kansas replaced 5'11" Coit with 6'6" Darryn Peterson (son of former Akron standout Darryl Peterson) who has 21 and 22 pts in his first two collegiate games. He has been out with a hamstring injury but otherwise, they traded up IMO. Coit is a heck of a shooter but he's more of a liability on defense.
  20. Was. This is the Portal Era. Keep up, RoyalBlu.
  21. Kent follows up their win vs us by getting destroyed at home by CMU. Unbelievably bad loss by the Zips last week.
  22. Former NIU standout David Coit with 41 pts for Maryland in a 4 pt win over Mount St. Mary's.
  23. I haven't seen anything to deny or confirm it, so for now, we laugh. Lol.
  24. Bobcat Attack is a fun read right now. They're done with Boals.
  25. If this is true, wow.
