This is Ali Ali's first game vs. PCCC since the ass whooping we gave them in the MAC Championship game 2 years ago, which was the Akron Diss Track game - "F Ali Ali".

They're committing 2-3 guys to him on defense every single time down the court. If that's not what a star does, then I don't know.

Announcer: "What they did was they blocked out all the A's. Akron and A are not well liked here at Kent." That may be true, but that's just because it's such a hard letter for them to read and write. If they block them all out, the english language is easier for them.

LOL! These announcers just said Payton gave Freeman nothing but respect to Freeman, and neglected to actually state the part of the article that mentioned Payton believing he's better than Freeman. What a f'ing joke.

I love how they started off the broadcast saying that these two teams were picked to finish 1st and 2nd in the MAC, failed to mention that only Akron is living up to the expectations, then proceeded to only talk about how many players PCCC is missing as they fell behind by double digits now.

I made a similar comment to my dad that this is an Ali Ali takeover game at the end - you could see it in his eyes. He was in control for the most part, which was great to see.

How the hell is Enrique Freeman not plastered all over the city of Akron as a marketing plan? -
We live in a world where it's possible neither Ohio or PCCC make the trip to Cleveland. I like this world. Side note: watching NIU & PCCC on ESPN+ right now. NIU has their entire upper section of seating pushed back. Whomever convinced NIU to build their convocation center is the greatest salesman in the world and could sell ice to an Eskimo.
