  1. and how fast it got made....
  2. OH shit, it's the superbowl revisited. Refs are a factor.
  3. OMG, for a second, I forgot we were down by 2, and when he said "Shot no good.. Where going to.........." I thought he was going to say Creighton
  4. a turnover here (trying to possess the ball for the last shot) would be killer here. Please atleast let us take a shot.
  5. No matter what happens (tie game right now; less than 2 mins), I am thankful for a good game. After the first half, it was hard not to worry.
  6. jinx
  7. I must admit, it's gotta be frustrating to be at a game and see large segments of the fans lacking animation, but I also gotta say, that's still better than seeing empty seats.
  8. What is worse, if OSU proceeds on far in the NCAA tourney, they will continue to monopolize interests. AND, if Can't gets a few wins, they will suck in what little vacuum that may not have been locally mopped up from Buckeye bandwagonerz.
  9. *twitches*[edit] I just found 1350AM (radio free ohio) out of Arkon is carrying the game.I bet there are others.
  10. *wonders if a Kènt/Akron matchup for the NCAA bid at the Q will actually wake up the media in that town on the lake up there*
  11. When is the tipoff, and can you walk up to the Q and buy tix at the box office?
  12. fecking awesome. Do-able, but the hardest part would be getting the target's ScreenName.
  13. That can't be right. You can get to DT cleveland significantly faster from DT akron than you can from DT k ent, traffic phenomenon aside.LOL, I'm not trying to go OT or start an argument. Just wondering how that could be 3 minutes difference.
  14. Retards? That's a bit inflamatory, don't ya think?I mean, we all know that most schools will recruit and give athletic scholarships to guys whose IQ may not be mensa because that want performance on the field or court. True, some schools try a little harder, or have slightly higher standards, but the phenomenon is still prevalent wherever you go. How much do you forgive academic standards if it increases athletic results? All I'm saying is, let's brag about performance & results on the field/court, and let's even brag if our atheletes have some academic successes compared to elsewhere, but let's not stoop to calling other school's atheletes "retards", even if msopher really would be wise to fight another battle, because his points sound like obvious rationalization and denial.
  15. Trashing their boards is dumb, but celebrating K ent inferiority with alcohol isn't.
  16. Then Pitt looks like they are out, and it depends on which sport Jeter really wants.
  17. I agree to keep zippy.I still think we could also have an evil roo though.
  18. Everyone is replacable. That doesn't mean that any replacement can bring the same things to the table.
  19. That's their job (busting students). Busting adults is for the city cops. What do you expect? 24/7 donut eating contests on taxpayer $$$?Your pigs comment makes me wonder if you should enroll to K ent (assuming you don't already go there)
  20. it was a little bit of vague history about akron and blimps, with some spotted comentary and losely related information. It got around to something about the use of the blimp hangar being for some lockheed martin high altitude blimp project, but really didn't say much about weather research/development was actually being done there, or if the hangar is just nice to own because of it's size.
  21. that was a city park
  22. I see your point (state university in another city, that's a refreshing perspective), but the "Ohio" name is on it, weather you like it or not, and thus, they must represent. Why I don't take that perspective with Ohio U, I can't answer. Perhaps someday (more likely in our dreams, but hey) if Akron is no longer a stranger to BCS ranking and NCAA successes, I can forget my desire that OSU be a representative of the whole state.
  23. Haha, yeah. He was saying Ay-krawn (with a hard A). ...and he kept doing it.
  24. Those are some weet weightroom stats for a lineman. That benchpress is hella impressive, but the squat makes me wonder if he could even go higher, especially, as I said, when you consider his bench and the fact that he's on the line.At my peak, I could only bench 280 (for reps) but I could squat nearly 400 for reps. I'm not even trying to say that I'm close to the man he is in the weight room, but that is the type of difference between upper/lower body strength you normally see, even for top atheletes. But I have a question, because I never played ball in college. Does heavy squatting hurt your speed?
  25. I root for AkronI root for OSUIf the two play each other, I root for Akron
