Right on brudda!

This is a difficult one. I can't speak for the Rowdies, but I see the point of trying to create traditions and be prescence in the arena. One way of doing that is having a sea of <insert color here>. Also, the first meeting for the Rowdies specifically mentioned what the uni would be. (Read the meeting notes here). They also said they would have extra on hand for those that occassionaly forget, so I don't know what happened. A great point was made above about how the beginning of the year last year looked great and by the end it was an individual fashion show. The reality is, the Rowdies board is trying to ramp up as fast as possible and will have some bumps and bruises along the way. Make suggestions and not accusation and both the fans and the board can grow and learn together. I think both parties are wrong here. The board should reexamine how they enforce their rules and the fan should plan a bit ahead if he knows he will attend the game and bring hsi shirt. No one's wrong. No one's right IMO.

After speaking with Chad Welker (ZipsVision Operator), someone in the front office isn't a big fan of that video. I am not sure if they completely axed it, but I think you will see it very limited this year.

Anyone find it odd that he was not offered a job because of one season? Sounds like a big gamble if they use that logic. CMU had a good year, but what's to say that they would have tanked next year if their coach stayed.

I am not so sure I agree that we got screwed. If I remember correctly, all of our losses were to conference champions. That can't bode well for an at-large bid.

Oh, I agree. Iust am backing our research since you said it wasn't correct! ;)Either way, the shirts are fine. They will be fixed for next season I am sure. Let's not lose focus on what is important here: the Rowdies are getting more organized and are improving each game.

yes, I understand, but if you're going to give the airtime, then respect the teams and the conference. The best is they just put a graphic up showing the MAC East standings and they had Akron's conference record at 2-3.....um, I think we beat Buffalo for MAC win number 3!!!!AND THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE ESPN???!!! I am in a hotel. I am flipping stations. I come across the Miami-BG game on EPSN2. The score is Miami 9 BG 7 with 8:00 to go in the game. The two bums doing the play by play immediately launch in to an OSU rant that included clips of OSU's win over northwestern and a photo/stats feature on screen of Troy Smith. ALL WHILE THE MIAMI/BG GAME WAS GOING ON!!! For about two minutes of game clock, they didn't even mention any of the action in a 2 point game in the last minutes of the game!!!! It wasn't until the 5:00 mark that they finally started talk about the game and acknowledged that is was a close one!!! WTF?? ESPN should be ashamed!!!!!

This game will have to be won on the ground. Ohio's pass defense is solid. I don't think Getsy will be able to put up big numbers. It will be up to Kennedy, but mroe so up to the O-Line to create opportunities.

Akron Main Post Office is where I got mine. Be prepared to write TWO checks for the total payment. It can take up to 6 months to get it, but mine took 6 weeks. Better to have it now than to get it when everyone else it trying to get theirs. Also, you need to have two color photos of yourself. Not sure on size requirements, but any Kinkos and other similar places will do the photo for you. Bring it to the PO when you go to register. I didn't have to make any further trips other than the initial one to the PO. Passport came in the mail to my home. It is good for 10 years.
