Hell, even Dambrot claims he doesn't know what to expect at Miami. He stated this morning that he has taken teams better than the team he is currently bring to Miami tomorrow three times in his career at Akron and lost all three.

Are you selling these? They don't look like any "officially licensed" apparel I've seen before.

I've subscribed in the past to the webcasts and they are optimized for web viewing. Therefore, projecting it onto a screen will create "less than desirable" results. Not sure of any local bar, but hopefully some other OLDIES/ROWDIES/Alumns will respond. I now live out of state, so I cannot help with local events. Might I suggest that you make a few phone calls to see if there are any local estblishments that will carry the feed? Then you can post it here and we will send it out to the OLDIES membership list.Thanks!

If there is an "official" location for alumns to go, contact the the AK-OLDIES and we will publish it to our membership. Why anyone would think moving to an FM signal is an "upgrade" is beyond me. We want quality AND sigal reach, right? Most Akron FM stations barely penetrate in Akron let alone outside of Akron. Hell, I am pretty sure WZIP has THE STRONGEST FM signal in the city! For those that don't have an Akron zip code, AM is MUCH better. ...and ANYTHING is much better than 1350. I seriously thought I saw a few hamsters running in wheels under the desk by Frenchy's feet to power their board!

I think that is extremely reasonable. It would be one thing if my man just showed up a few years ago, but when you have that kind of history, why not let him stay in the area.

AM will penetrate MUCH farther than FM. Trust me, you want AM. And if you can't get 1590's power, then go for 640.

MACfan and others should be GLAD this happened to Akron. It uncovered more dirt and disfunction about the NCAA, NIT and the MAC than anyone knew of. Sure, many of us suspected much, but the beast was unveiled this past weekend. Now that it's out, it's not about 6.6 seconds. There is much more to this story.....
