  1. Looked like Cross & Wilson starting at DT
  2. Tutu is starting
  3. #8 Jaylen Kelly-Powel is starting
  4. Awesome onside kick! Love it. Guess we were off sides but that was. Cool. Whatever. I'm probably gonna log off till halftime.
  5. WMU's getting the ball. Set the tone D!!!!!!!
  6. +1. I was projecting him as a starter.
  7. ESPN just showed DeShields and it looked like he must've been taking the #1 reps. A former walk-on redshirt freshman. Lol. Cross your fingers!!!
  8. CLASSIC!!!! ? ? ✊
  9. Last year our corners really struggled covering people 1-on-1. Anxious to see if we've improved in this area. 80% of good coverage is a good pass rush. So... anxious to see if we've improved in this area as well. Lol. I wanna see Jeff Lubin assert himself. He was a stud in high school but hasn't seen the field much for us. He's a big corner at 6'2". ...And holy scheisse! Speaking of cornerbacks I just looked at the roster and Jalen Hooks (another 6'2" corner) is not listed! ???
  10. He's got the size of a safety for sure. But he played LB in high school and was 1st Team All-Ohio D-1. According to Arth they moved him back to LB & he's been doing great. We'll see. Go Zips!
  11. I don't like how "close to the vest" Arth plays the depth chart. I doubt it gives our coaching staff that much of a strategic advantage and it subtracts from a lot of pregame conversation.
  12. What are we rocking tonight?
  13. I'm glad good ol' Joe Dunn is still on the radio. Steve French was often somewhat rude to Joe. Dismissive.
  14. Well, hmm. Wonder if UA cooled on AJ?
  15. Bubbalicious being interviewed. He's gonna have a All-MAC type of season. Anxious to see who our front seven are. According to an Arth interview, Reggie Corner has also been playing very well at LB, but I doubt we could play both Bubba (5-9, 205) and Reggie (also 5-9, 205) at the same time. Throw Zach DiLauro (5-10, 202) out there and we could have the 3 smallest starting LB's in D-1. Lol.
  16. On the air. Is Skoczen also the voice of the RubberDucks?
  17. Replacing Lako & Alvin Davin on defense will be next to impossible, but I'm predicting our defense will play better this season with a year running Arth's system under their belts. But I'm still not expecting much on offense due the youth of our OL and our uncertainty at QB - if Kato is the starter we're going to need him to make a significant leap this year. If the OL performs well I'll be thrilled & the future will look bright. So if we hang 20 points on WMU tonight I'll be pleasantly surprised and hopeful concerning the future, even if we lose by 16. Looking forward to seeing who our starting QB is and how our new RB's look. Go Zips!
  18. I’m on my phone, but Kameron Epps also opened his recruiting back up.
  19. +1. The MAC utterly screwed the pooch. Sadly, don’t ask me if I’m at all surprised by that. ?. Realistically, Akron would have a problem with social distancing at their soccer matches. But no fans being admitted to MAC mid-week football games is an aggravating eye-roller.
  20. Joe’s still on board. Sucks about Frenchy. For the U not to mention it probably means, yeah, Frenchy must’ve stepped on some toes.
  21. That’s both disappointing and a head scratcher.
  22. +1. I’m loving the high-character guys Arth & Co. seem to be attracting. These seem to be guys that will be an asset to the university as a whole; not guys you have to turn a blind eye towards while off the field and cross your fingers they stay eligible. If you follow freshman RB Isaiah Childs on Twitter you’ll be hoping he runs for president one day. I’m not expecting great success (Borat voice) on the field this year, but I love that everyone on board seems to be rowing in the same direction & are on mission to sincerely change the culture - both on and off the field.
  23. No idea what to expect. With OL so young still not expecting much. I voted Broncos by 12-or-more (WMU's a tough get from the West) and less than 210 on offense. Again, just no idea what to expect. Hope I'm wrong. Prove me wrong, Zippers!
  24. I was thinking the same. 31 PPG is great... but his competition has to be suspect. Like you said, his AAU team must play some good competition. I'm reminding myself that Javon Graves (STVM) was originally from Malvern... or somewhere out in BFE.
