What's taking so long? I was expecting some info from Rivals, and they've got absolutely nothing - unless, of course, no one has signed?! I find that highly unlikely, so there's just no information coming in. Does anyone out there in the Nation have any inside info?

I agree. Bill Needle is so bad it's painful to listen to. I believe he used to do a talk show on WKNR? So I suppose that's how he got the Can't job. A little name recognition. But as far as calling a game he is absolutely awful.

Just saw on Rivals that DT Wayne Jones gave a verbal to Pitt. That hurts. Everyone knows that what we need most of all are DT's. Oh, well. It's still shaping up to be the best class overall in the history of Zips football. Even if it is a bit lacking in this area of need.

Could and would someone, with more time than myself, look up some game and season statistics for our incoming recruits - McKnight, Steward and Sweich? It'd be nice to see how they're playing, as far as points, rebounds, assists, etc. Also, how are their teams doing? Are they coming from winning programs?

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm hoping for 30K. I think that we'll draw significantly better as soon as we move into a new facility. The Rubberbowl, God love her, is actually a repelant as far as fans are concerned. A new facility will be a draw in itself - see Canal Park. Plus, I love SMU's new stadium, and it seats 30K. I wish we'd just clone it. It is perfect.

Rivals has upped DB Da'von Moore's star-rating to 3-Stars. That makes five 3-Star recruits! 1) Da'von Moore - DB, 2) Casey Estrada - OL, 3) Matt Rodgers - QB, 4) Paul Simkovich - OL & 5) Bryan Willias - RB. Add Vince Hill back into the mix and that gives us 6!Sign Morgan Williams next week and we've got 7!Go Zips!FYI, Toledo's also got 5 3-Star recruits. Recruiting's really started rolling for them this past week! I want to see us finish tops in the MAC, but I also want to see the MAC do well as a whole. So, good job Toledo!

I don't know why they'd think this, if they have any information to go on. The program was at best stuck in neutral, and stuck in neutral at a pretty low level at that.But I like LeeO as a person. I met him a few times and he's a very gregarious, friendly guy. Good family man and a good role model for his players.

Ha! This is so true! I've watched them do this repeatedly over the last few years! They consistently change their rankings of players according to what university expresses interest in them and who they give a verbal to. I don't know if Rivals actually has an opinion of their own or not!
