Could and would someone, with more time than myself, look up some game and season statistics for our incoming recruits - McKnight, Steward and Sweich? It'd be nice to see how they're playing, as far as points, rebounds, assists, etc. Also, how are their teams doing? Are they coming from winning programs?

That's an absolutely great looking commercial! Wow, the athletic advertising budget must be absolutely anemic in comparison. The athletics ads are totally bush league.

Balki, it's actually Indiana who's giving us problems, not Illinois. But they both kinda suck, either way.Army at Cleveland Browns' Stadium? Looks like our schedule is gonna suck big-time AGAIN this year!!!But at least we've got a game prior to the OSU game in Cowlumbus. I'd play Army on the road as long as we get a game in before the Suckeyes.

Does anyone know how McNees is looking in practice? Does it look like he'll be able to contribute next year? Or does he appear to be a mere throw-in player, since that other guard, what's-his-name who signed with the Cincy football team, decided not to play for us?

I know I'm in the minority here, but I'm hoping for 30K. I think that we'll draw significantly better as soon as we move into a new facility. The Rubberbowl, God love her, is actually a repelant as far as fans are concerned. A new facility will be a draw in itself - see Canal Park. Plus, I love SMU's new stadium, and it seats 30K. I wish we'd just clone it. It is perfect.

Rivals has upped DB Da'von Moore's star-rating to 3-Stars. That makes five 3-Star recruits! 1) Da'von Moore - DB, 2) Casey Estrada - OL, 3) Matt Rodgers - QB, 4) Paul Simkovich - OL & 5) Bryan Willias - RB. Add Vince Hill back into the mix and that gives us 6!Sign Morgan Williams next week and we've got 7!Go Zips!FYI, Toledo's also got 5 3-Star recruits. Recruiting's really started rolling for them this past week! I want to see us finish tops in the MAC, but I also want to see the MAC do well as a whole. So, good job Toledo!

Has anyone heard any news on either RB Morgan Williams of Canton McKinley or DT Wayne Jones of Pennsylvania?

I'm thrilled that he replied to the email! That shows respect, class and concern.

I don't know why they'd think this, if they have any information to go on. The program was at best stuck in neutral, and stuck in neutral at a pretty low level at that.But I like LeeO as a person. I met him a few times and he's a very gregarious, friendly guy. Good family man and a good role model for his players.

Ha! This is so true! I've watched them do this repeatedly over the last few years! They consistently change their rankings of players according to what university expresses interest in them and who they give a verbal to. I don't know if Rivals actually has an opinion of their own or not!

I agree with you 110% Captain!!! I recently took a 7th grader to his 1st Zips game in the JAR (he was wise enough not to wear any OSU gear - even against his mother's suggestion!) But even the 7th grader made the astute observation, "Man, this gym isn't very nice." Wow!So yes Captain, amen! EXCEPT for mentioning the possibility of "a major renovation." I was a little bit offended at how they insinuated that the Zips' level-headed play was due to the LeBron influence. Perhaps they should consider the possibility that LeBron plays such level-headed basketball due to the Keith Dambrot influence!

I didn't know about his injury. And everything else you say is very true, very true! It's great to see the depth we're getting at the RB position! I don't ever recall having nearly the sort of talent we're assembling there! I'm especially excited about seeing Bryan Williams tote the rock. But I always show favor toward the local fellas. That's why I'm still hoping we sign Morgan Williams - another great RB!

So he's still a junior this year? If so, it's good to see us getting a jump on these top recruits and get them thinking Zips a.s.a.p. Hopefully he'll wanna be a homeboy and represent! No selling out to Cowlumbus or Pitt or Northwestern!!! Keepin' it real!

YSU can have him. He's an underacheiver, probably pretty arrogant, and we don't need anymore personalitites like that on this team! He's only got one year of eligibility remaining? We can do better.
