Pinnacle Sports has Akron a 1.5 favorite. I realize WMU is a good team and has only lost two MAC games this year, but those two losses were on the road. Akron hasn't lost a home game and their average margin of victory at home is over 13 and it's over 11 in MAC games. WMU is 1-2 on the road in the MAC. They beat Ball State and lost to CMU and OU. Of course, you can always look at this stat too ... WMU is 3-0 in games that start at 3:30 while Akron is 0-2! :blink:

Maybe they thought we were gonna beat UALR and Texas Tech and we would be in Missouri getting ready for our game against Marquette.

pinnaclesports.com had Akron as a 10 pt. favorite when the line opened. They ended a 6.5 favorite because people were probably betting UALR. They currently have us as a 15 pt favorite for tonight's game.

How many bowls have MAC teams? Isn't it just Motor City, GMAC, and International? You gotta believe that if NIU doesn't win the MACC or even if they don't make it there, they're gonna get one of those bowls, just cuz people wanna see Garrett Wolfe. That slims down our chances quite a bit especially if NIU doesn't even make the title game.

That's funny because I was at yesterday's game. We made plans to go right after the draft, hoping to catch of glipse of Frye vs. Hixon. But we were sitting up in the stands talking about how the Browns should pay us to sit there and experience watching this miserable team. That or at least give us free beer.

I don't think Frye is as bad as he has looked. He is playing behind a broken offensive line and with receivers dropping balls. Someone on that team needs to step up and protect him or his career is gonna go the same way of Tim Couch.
