Unconfirmed rumor that the 16 departing seniors have been invited to be the honorary co-captians at tomorrow's game. I think that is great, finally the new regieme reaching out to those guys . I hope it's true and hope a bunch if not all are there. I also heard that there is a Draft watching party on Allyn Street beginning at Noon tomorrow. Beer will be involved.

Yep, what zff said, My source got better info and confirmed that the 24th iIS open to the public. This same source was told that there might be some "surprises" at the Friday night scrimmage. The surprises were not detailed out. I am back to being a happy camper now. Hey Padre, I love you Man

I am told that this Friday night is the only time the public will be able to see anything except practice. Apparantly, the game on the 24th is closed to the public adn that is where they are going to run the real O against the real D. Friday is supposedly in the same format as other Blue-Gold games where there are two teams with ones, twos and threes mixed on both teams. So now I am confused. I cannot make it on Friday. therefore i will have to reply on reports from here. If anyone hears anything different, let me know. I will make the trip on the 24th but not to stand outside the Bowl and potentially be shooed away by some AD lackey.

Zipsrifle, I have to agree with you on the replacement of 78 and 42 but Picc is still there! Gres (Little) started the sapring at RT. Hendry was the best damdest blocking back in the world and will be dorerly missed as will the Warrior at right tackle. Warrior is not my nick for him but Coach U's.

Just checked, Blue-Gold Game is Saturday 4/24 @ 10 am at the Bowl. I like it in the Bowl cause Lee Jackson Field sucks.

The Blue-Gold Game is the weekend following "ZipsFest" I believe, or I read the schedule wrong. I just wanted to put some kind of get together and a face to fsace for those who have never done that, present company included, except of course for my Padre ! BTW. Some day over a beer, I will tell anyone who wants to hear how a young man by the name of Jessie Kline from Upper Arlington HS (a stud running back ) turned down offers from Stanford, Michigan, Notre Dame, Northwestern and one other place to play for the Pukeeyes. He was recrutied by one John Cooper. I know its the real deal because hsi dad told me the story. In that stoiry is the answer to your question. It has just a little to do with being a "Buckeye" . Its a large club.

gOZIPS i GOT THE SAME THING AND MY BUDDY ZF HAD TO EMAIL ME THE LINK. Well my comments are basically the same as the others but I will concentrate on the OL for now. First and formost kudos to Jimmy Borecci (61)for getting on the Rimingotn Watch List. I love Jimmy. He is the one with the baddest attitude on the OL Ive said it before the interior Guard to guard is solid , fast and quick. this is 69's fourth year as a starter and the other two their thrird. Tackles: Little Gres had to get the nod ofver the others for a number of reasons. I think he wins the job by Penn State time. Schepp- Coach U loved this guy. Smallish but good feet and hands. Experience will tell. I do not think 79 has staying power and maybe Donaledson will take his job. The up and comers need to get a case of the attitudes. The Ol should be the strength of this years team and show us how good they really are. The challenge is a new coaching staff, new strategy and asttitude. I am looking forward to watching the metamorphsis. I like Dominick at WR but they need to replace him over on the other side of the ball. First pad practice whould be Sat. Time will tell. I love it BTW, Z-P, I love you Man!

Zwick may not be the replacement. It may be the other kid (Troy ?) who honestly looked better last year. Time will tell.
