    I cringed when they referred to BG all time great Anthony Stacey and called him Andrew Stacey. The two of them in fact make even Bill Needle sound good. By far, the poorest tandem I've ever heard. Somehow though, they're a perfect fit for Kent.

    Nuga was a great find by Mr. Pinky, he's a really solid player. Overall, I think that PCCC has a little too much inside game for BG to handle. I'll be watching this one for sure.

    The most satisfying thing to me was observing the spirit of comradery between all the Akron players . We have some solid young men that genuinely care and like one another. You just can't place a set value on the importance that has on a team's fortunes. I really like these guys.

    Pretty sure that this guy will be doing the color commentary on their home ESPN 3 broadcast.

    Canada has as much, or possibly more, talent as anybody in the MAC. Their biggest problem is Coach Jim Whitesell. They sorely miss Nate Oats, who has done an exceptional job in his 2 years at Alabama.

    The Zips grabbed 49 boards with 7 blocks tonight. That's some big boy basketball.

    I don't know, Jackson forces a lot of bad shots. I think he's got that "I'm gonna to get mine" attitude that doesn't always represent what is best for his team. I don't see that out of Turner. He seems to always stay within the flow of the offense. The guy is just smooth out there all the time.

    Heroes a plenty in this one, many stepped up. This was a terrific victory against a very good Toledo team, a win a team can build on for sure. More Garvin Clarke please.

    Seeing the Rockets as a 4.5 pt road favorite. C'mon Zips, time to stand up and send them packing.

    CSU stamps themselves as legitimate Horizon contenders with their nice road win in Dayton. Patton had 17 pts. with 8 boards and 3 steals.

    May not be such a bad thing. A malcontent such as Carry can easily destroy a team's chemistry . What has Duquesne achieved with this guy running the point?

    Keep an eye on their freshman guard Ryan Rollins. He has the look of a guy that may become the MAC's next great player.

    It wasn't a prediction, just an observation as I was watching the game. Regardless, he came up mighty big for the Vikes. The guy has a certain toughness to him that seems to be lacking in our Zips

    Torrey is doing a lot of good things for much improved Cleveland State this season. probably going to have a double-double tonight

    We didn't take care of the ball. We didn't defend well and we were soft as hell out there, no fight, no toughness. Other than that it was a great effort.

    One of the most completely solid 40 minutes I've seen the Zips play in quite awhile. Great win !!

    Buffalo looked great vs. 'Cuse for about 30 minutes. Unfortunately they had to go 45 minutes though. Mballa has been a beast on the block since returning from injury. Don't see how anybody in the MAC slows him down. Maybe go right at him to try to get him in foul trouble and get Brock (The Statue) Bertram on the floor.
