@71 - You are a very wise man.
@5 - if that's your biggest worry, things are going pretty darn good for you (although your concern is extremely legitimate).
You are correct sir.
Not only are the Zips greatly improved, but my astrologer predicts that all of the Zips opponents will be worse than they were last season and also SEVERAL tragic bus accidents.
Good times are right around the corner.
In News Collector's April 15th report it turns out they aren't NCAA-mandated practices: they are NCAA-regulated practices. This raises a whole slew of different questions. Are regulators on site for every team's practices? How extensive are the regulations; e.g., do they specify how much time can be spent practicing offense defense, special teams?
Walnut Hills has a reputation for stretching player heights; 6'8" may even be a tad long. Hey, a descent pair of insoles and a bushy haircut and he'll look 6'11".
Read the brief report and learned that this was the 6th of 15 NCAA-mandated spring practices.
I didn't know that the NCAA mandated spring practices!
What is the penalty if a team doesn't hold all of the mandated practices?
Does each practice have to last some minimum amount of time, or could a team meet the mandated number of practices by holding 15 one minute practices?
Now you're starting to "think bigger." However, rather than centrally locate for NE Ohio, how about locating more centrally for the whole darn state? We could rent this place, even though it is a multi-use facility, it's supposed to be better for viewing basketball games than OSU's new(er) facility. Of course I may not be thinking bigger enough. Perhaps we should centrally locate for the nation or the world. Centrally locating intergalactically at this point may not make financial sense.
Finally, some descent sized corners.............
The linebacker corps features a mixture of youth (Jatavis Brown, 5-11, 203 pounds), experience (Justin March, 6-0, 203 pounds) and some new blood in junior college transfer (Jon Selby, 6-1, 210 pounds).
