I agree, compared to our past recruiting classes, we have stepped it up a notch. Unfortunately, compared to other schools, not so much.
Whatever you do don't look at Scout.com where our 2014 class is ranked 128 out of 128.
It does to me.
I was trying to figure out if you or 35 thought more highly of the 2014 class.
247Sports thinks a little bit more of the Zips than Rivals.
They have them at 110.
Rivals has Akron's 2014 class ranked at 111 out of 123 teams. How low would we have to be rated for you to downgrade them from pretty strong to strong?
124 is a nice bump from where we finished last season. I absolutely guarantee the zips will finish closer to 75 than 124. Heck, with enough tragic bus accidents they could make that sweet 16 appearance some of our more optimistic brethren have prognosticated in recent years.
Something funny/strange going on here. Your link takes us to a column written about a year ago and all the comments are about the same age; so he was going to make a decision last December!!
Was thinking the odds were pretty good that LeBron will return to Cleveland. Then read that Sir Charles thinks he should do so. That alone drops the probability that he will return below 50%.
Personally I hope he does so I can learn all the haters thoughts; should be entertaining (and I realize that since I want it to happen that probably lowers the odds at least another 10%).
Given the priorities of this youngster in selecting a school, I'm not sure I like him.
Academics, a good fit with teammates, and the quality of the coaching staff!!!
How far down his list do we have to go before our new alternative uniforms come into play?.
