  1. Great to see our Zips respond to the early DePaul goal with 2 of their own and have the grit to find the 3rd goal late to get the win. Freddy was determined not to let this one be a draw. Congrats on his critical first goal as a Zip!
  2. Congrats to Beto Ydrach on his call up to Perto Rico National Team … https://pittsburghsoccernow.com/2025/10/10/riverhounds-beto-ydrach-called-up-to-puerto-rico-national-team-for-tuesdays-friendly-vs-argentina/
  3. Added Will Meyer, USL Championship, Rhode Island FC and Mani Austmann, Europe, Fylkir Reyjavik (per @TennZip) to my September 29 post above.
  4. Senior Day is already upon us …
  5. Note that this game kicks off at 6 pm ET.
  6. I think Darlington would do a great job helping to develop future players in the Crew Academy.
  7. Congratulations to Jason Shokalook
  8. I deleted my original reply because I was told this evening that the BE Tourney has changed and is only 4 teams this year. I have not found a link to that info but understand it is the top team from each division and the next two regardless of division.
  9. I hope we don't see that crap-show of a referee, Nickrod Fateh, again. One of the most inconsistent refs I can recall. Wonder how much he received to homer us at home? Fouls Akron 16 St. John's 9

  13. Added Teal Bunbury, MLS, Nashville to my list of Zips in the pros. Can’t believe I overlooked our 1st Hermann Trophy winner.

  15. Great game / win last night. Excellent response following the UConn game. Many impressive plays last night. Players worked hard throughout. Need to keep that full on effort going into Butler.
  16. Nicer drive / ride back to Columbus for Evan whose alma mater got the better of Schulte's. 😁
  17. As we know, it’s not how you start, but how you finish. Our players need to figure out how to get the ball in the net. Emil is gone; others need to step up and take the responsibility when it’s there rather than passing it off. Hopefully, our team learns from this one and gets back on track v St Louis and our remaining BE schedule. Hurts to lose at home but lots of opportunity remains.
