  3. The back and forth between Dyson Clapier and Jason Shookalook, with defenders on them, that led to Dyson's goal was some great work, too.
  4. CSU had 1 shot on goal that I believe Mitch tried to catch but ended up on the top of the net for a CSU ck. No matter...clean sheet.

  7. I think the best chance for the Zips came at 10:39 when Johnny Fitzgerald put the ball on frame heading inside the left post and it was saved by a header by #3 Akpunonu. Frustrating the number of chances the Zips had but were unable to finish. I always find it interesting when an attacking player shoots wide or over the net how fans tend to say great shot, it's ok. But, if a defender makes a mistake, they tend to not receive the same easy treatment. Oh well. On to the Cleveland State game in 8 days; then back to the MAC.
  8. Oct 11, 2022 Final Wake Forest (10-3-0) 1 William & Mary (4-2-6) 2 blOSU 3 Michigan 1
  9. Unfortunately... https://www.columbuscrew.com/news/columbus-crew-parts-ways-with-head-coach-caleb-porter
  10. Only time will tell. The Georgias joined because the Sun Belt stopped sponsoring Men's Soccer. Then conference realignment brought a number of teams such as Marshall and an associate, WVU, into the Sun Belt and the conference had the needed teams to again sponsor Men's Soccer. I wish the MAC would stop sponsoring Men's Soccer so the Zips could pursue an associate membership in a better, more stable (for Men's Soccer) conference.
  11. Goal Terence Okoeguale. Assisted by Levi Stephens. 8-0 Zips. 85:43
  12. Stefan Dobrijevic scores, assisted by Kingsford 7-0 Zips. 66:35
  13. Ryan Kingsford scores, assisted by Josh Hallenberger. 6-0 Zips. 65:59
  14. Goal Josh Hallenberger assisted by Terence Okoeguale 5-0 Zips.
  15. No Football?! Water the Ferns is Loser Larry doing there?
  16. Crew2 win 1st MLSNEXTPRO Cup 4-1.
  17. The guy from Medina (who played college ball at WF) and the ZipsMSoc alum who sneaks the ball in a few minutes later and just before half
  18. In the past, we used to have issues at BUGS because they "park the bus" which they did again packing their penalty area with defenders again last night. However, we now seem to let them dictate the style of play. Frustrating to watch us at times continue to keep the ball in the air when we had time to settle it to the ground and play our style. Harder than it looks, especially on the road, but I had hoped that we would settle in more and dictate our style of play. 3 MAC matches on the road sucks, but on to Chicago State. One at a time, please Zips. No looking ahead.
