We have been season ticket holders for years and knew this was going to be a tough year. That being said the Miami players in the second half wanted the win more than the Zips. They were hustling for loose balls harder than us and they left with the win. This team is not horrible as some may think or say but they need to play hard for the entire game. Malcolm and Jimmond tend to play over their head and they make poor decisions. Mark - he played better but would've benefitted from a red shirt year as he looks overwhelmed. In regrds to overcoaching - I heard the same complaints when Dambrot was the coach. This team needs coaching/teaching as they on average are so young. Go Zips.....

Was wondering if anyone has decided on a date for the Spring game?

Today was painful to be a Zips fan. The gameplan was obviously set up for CJ. Rodgers didn't look comfortable sitting back in the pocket. He made some poor decisions and it cost the Zips. It seemed that the offense kept running the same 4 plays all day. Giving Indiana some credit they have a lot of seniors on defense and as a unit they are as good as any the Zips will see the rest of the year. Our defense played off their recievers and Indiana took advantage all day long.Hopefully we can regroup and play better against CMU next Saturday.

Ughhhhhhhhhh I gree with Dr Z..I feel punched in the gut. We all make mistakes when we are young, but this is possibly the biggest Akron game in years!We need to rally around the players that are playing. Come on Matt this is your chance to step up!!You break the rules you pay the price. We all learn it eventually.

We, myself - wife - and a friend who drove himself, tailgated in lot 34 after paying the attendants near West Market Street and getting spun around. We ended up at Lot 34, my first choice, and had a good time. UAPD was around but were just looking for trouble makers as they should. No problems...nice short walk up to the Info. All the concerns were for nothing.Wasn't the same as the Rubber Bowl...but that is a good thing too!

Tailgating in a parking deck....just not the same. We will just get there early and get a spot in the open air.

The way the Zips are playing Brookhart should've left when he had a chance a year ago.Gerry Faust never left Akron...he still lives here by the way.
