  1. Big Dog rolled his ankle, it looks like.
  2. This is our toughest road game left, I think. NIU is showing cracks, Can't isn't as good as they think they are, and BG & Miami both suck.
  3. Can we get a half-dozen commitments between now and tomorrow morning?
  4. OU is making their run.
  5. ABJ: East Senior Domonick Holley Commits to Play Football at the University of Akron
  6. He removed his commitment from ScoutingOhio.com... Edit: He'll be a walk-on according to Michael Beaven

  9. From Brandon on HustleBelt:
  10. http://www.gozips.com/sports/rifle/2015-16/releases/20160201h95w3q Pretty cool. Didn't realize UA has never hosted a championship before.
  11. OK, so it turns out that pasting a twitter URL directly into the comment box (which it automatically turns into a graphic of the tweet) is what causes the error. When I create a regular link out of the URL instead, I can post fine. Also, thanks for the name change.

  13. Can't post to the 2016 football recruiting thread.
  14. If we win the MAC tournament, we're in anyway. So the only time we could stumble would be in the conference semis or championship game under your scenario, otherwise we would lose at least twice.
  15. Experience almost certainly played a factor. NIU is young, but Miami has seven or eight seniors.
  16. This one's all but wrapped up. Everyone in the MAC with the exception of Miami is now at least somewhat dangerous.
  17. Their conference schedule has been a joke so far.
  18. And maybe a few of this incoming class will also sit out, which balances things. Actually, I would be shocked if there weren't any non-qualifiers this class.
  19. Just an updated version of what CK put together a few weeks ago.
  20. Hopefully with visits this weekend our current commits are solidified and we add some more. Still a very small signing class.
  21. HS Commits Kato Nelson QB 6' 0" / 190 Flanagan HS, Pembroke Pines, FL Brandon Council OL 6' 4" / 290 Jireh Prep, Matthews, NC Trevor Brown OL 6' 6" / 285 Jireh Prep, Matthews, NC Jonathan Neeley OL 6' 5" / 260 Ursuline HS, Youngstown, OH Cedric McCoy OL 6' 6" / 330 Ellsworth CC, Iowa Falls, IA Jovann Letuli T 6' 5" / 305 Grossmont CC, El Cajon, CA Tyler Gilchrist ATH 5' 11" / 193 Archbishop Hoban HS, Akron, OH Domonick Holley WR 6' 2" 154 East HS, Akron, OH Devon Jones TE, 6'4" / 205 Coventry HS, Coventry, OH (Walk-on?) 22. Add another local recruit: East HS WR Domonick Holley, according to ScoutingOhio.com 6' 2" with an offer from EMU. Yeah for local recruiting!
  23. That one's huge. Getting a player from the state championship team less than a mile from campus is what a successful program is supposed to do.
  24. Ball State, like most MAC bottom feeder this years, is improved. But Akron should still be favored to win.
  25. Hopefully Kwan has figured out what he needs to do to play at a higher level. Until last night, he had seriously regressed from last season. If he can get his mid-range shot going, he'll provide something that we currently completely lack on offense.
