Hey FAMILY...wanted to know if there will be ANY video feed for tonights game??? surfingchannel wont be showing it and everyone else is only offering audio. I won't be there tonight so ROWDIES...and ZIPNATION...rep for me strong. Zeke is getting his SWAG back from his injury. He is feeling "better"...getting his "groove" back! Well..Quickzips..I have to agree with you! Zeke has really been struggling with trying to get healthy. He came home with an ice machine, had to ice his knees 3x a day and then had to return on Christmas to a 3 hr. practice. He really hasnt had a chance to just HEAL! But, I also want to address a comment someone made when they said that Zeke was "being tossed around like a salad"..I have to respectfully disagree. Do I think, Zeke's head wasn't in the game the first half..YES SIR I do! I don't know what the heck he was thinking..but after a "friendly, maternal" rebuke..he pulled it together for the second half. I will say that he did manage to keep the big guy for URI from doing anything "sensational" and for that I'm greatful! Be that as it may, again, I wish Coach D would just allow Zeke to rest himself and allow his body to catch up to all of the work and abuse his body has endured. I'm concerned that his lack of rest will be detrimental to him and the team later on down the road. Just my UNBIASED opinion. Be gentle ZipNation....LOL:)GameChangr44, good to see you.Personally, I would like to see Zeke get more minutes against lesser opponents and few minutes against the toughies. Two reasons. First, to allow him time to heal. Second, allow him to develop at thecollege level. More time on the floor will get him up to speed with the pace of the college game.Zeke needs to keep the ball high. The opposition will continually foul him until he develops a murderous free throw percentage. As a big man he should feast on free throws. I think Zeke is a pretty decent freshman player. Each game, each season he will just get better. Cometournament time I expect Zeke to be a major contributor .Thanks GoZips...its good to be seen...SMILE:) I can agree with your statement. Zeke is learning alot and although he and Coach D work one-on-one after their practices...it is still difficult for him...because like "another coach" said..Zeke is basically learning as he goes and that can be a little intimidating, which is why sometimes he seems like he doesnt know what to do. I do believe that Zeke is going to really break out soon, he just needs sometime time to COMPLETELY HEAL and he will be fine. I guess we will all have to wait and see what happens!!!!

Well, Zeke banged up his knee pretty bad tonight. Trainer thinks it could possibly be a hamstring pull...won't know until tomorrow when he goes in to see him at 7:30 AM. I think right now, Zeke's body is beat up and the 2 days he is going to be home is GREATLY needed....he just needs a few minutes away from everything. Give him a minute for his body to catch upwith all the work he is doing and then it is a wrap!

WOW...ZM...why you gots to put me in DA BIG HOUSE...I couldnt go to "county"...geezzzz....I'm a first time offender!!! Way funny..@ AZB--...so I just talked with Zeke and found out that he is staying in a hotel for the next 20+ days because the dorms are closed for the holidays...BOOOO....!! Sooo unfortunately, my plans to do up his dorm room are out. OH Well, can I get an A for effort anyway... I'm still going to bring him a cake and would like for the ZIPNATION to help me sign happy birthday to him!! Now it turns out I spent this money in vain! And I feel a bit foolish after I bragged to all my buddies about the great deal I got by getting in on their three year plan (in addition I got a 10% discount on the signing classes by also enrolling in their ballroom dance program). At least I have much of my spare time now accounted for through the year 2012. To think I was willing to bake you a cake with a file in it to help you bust outta da big house. Greeting FAMILY...I hope EVERYONE had a great Thanksgiving and are all getting ready for the game tomorrow. I wanted to send this shout out to the Nation to let you all know that Zeke's birthday is Sunday (13th)..but since I wont be there on Sunday...I wanted to solicit your assistance in helping me celebrate his big day tomorrow night. I'm going to attempt to sneak into his dorm room and decorate it and then I would like for us to sing happy birthday sometime before the game or after it WHEN we win....LOL:)Any other suggestions??? HELLO ZIP NATION Its been a while since I've logged in and said hi to everyone. Well, ladies and gentlemen...its that time of year again!! I am sooo excited about seeing Zeke in a Zips uniform...I just cant believe that my baby is going to be playing college basketball FOR REAL and not just on XBOX!! OK..so here is my question....does anyone know if they will be streaming or podcasting the exhibition game on the 10th??? I just want to know JUST IN CASE I can't get up there to see him. ANYONE...ANYONE..!!!

Zeke is fine everyone. He is working very, very hard and he is working through the "MINOR" ankle. He is practicing with the team and working out the kinks....

HELLO ZIPFAMILY I know..I know...where have I been. Ive been laying low and watching how Zeke is adjusting to everything..WELL...he is doing ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! His roommate is CJ (he is a walk-on) whose dad coaches professionally in Korea. Zeke is "ADJUSTING" to college life. I think having those 5 weeks in the summer really helped alot. I just spoke with him and he is doing well you all. But I want to thank EVERY student and person on here who have not bombarded him and invaded his space (if I can say that)..thank you for giving him his space and allowing him to have that time of adjustment and transition..without everyone getting all in his face. THANK U VERY MUCH!! NOW...Zeke is working VERY VERY VERY HARD..believe me!! He ran the mile in 6 mins flat..YEAH!! He gained 15 pounds over the summer (within 5 weeks and was lifting 155 8x) so imagine what is about to happen now that he is working out and lifting on a DAILY BASIS... and Coach D has had the opportunity to work him out individually...and things are coming along very well. Zeke realizes that he has a lot of work to do and that there is a lot of responsibility that will be placed on him....is he ready...he's getting there. So, for those who were curious as to why noone asked about him...THANK GOD!! Yeah, keep him on the DL and let him put his time in..without the "spotlight" on him for now and watch what is about to happen...YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! See you all real soon. HEY...ARE THE JERSEY'S AVAILABLE YET??? You know I've got to PIMP MY JERSEY!!! PSS: AKROWDIES...how can I get a seat right behind the bench..or on that side???? HELP ME OUT SOMEONE!! SMILE:)

Zeke is learning how to "transition" from high school student/athlete to college student/athlete. I know that he is working REALLY, REALLY hard and is very busy between conditioning, classes and open gyms. Thanks for looking out. I cant wait for the season to start...Gettin my jersey made now...#44 MARSHALL...Wooo Hoooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK..all. I've just bought stock in Kleenex...since I'm going to need a years supply to wipe my eyes and nose with as we begin Zeke's new leg in life...COLLEGE!! I hope to see you all walking pass, chillin on the yard, eatin in the caf...or playin frisbee on the lawn (do ppl still do that?? LOL:)) as we walk through campus tomorrow bright and early..and I mean EARLY...to get Zeke all ready for summer school and school, school! For those who may be hanging around during the summer, Zeke will be on campus for the 2nd summer (5 week) session. OK...ppl...I havent let completely go yet..but when I do..I'll be laying down some ground rules and expectations from the ZipNation fam.. Blue and Gold will look REAL GOOD on the big guy!!!!!!! I can't wait either!!HEY ZIPPY...your GIRLFRIEND...will be looking for you. I told her you'll probably be in class..but just like a woman..she aint tryin to hear all that!! I taught her well...I'm sooo proud! LOL:) Just kidding guys..dont freak out on me!

OK..OK..so here is my question. If OSU is losing 2 basketball scholarships...why is it that everyone continues to believe that Payne and/or Witherspoon will be going to OSU??? Wont the losing of those 2 scholarships affect them for next year?? Just curious.
