  1. Zips 45, flushes 17. Our front 7 will pressure their qb all day. This will be a major breakout game. Chisholm will rush for 170+ Yards. It's payback time!
  2. Was anyone else amused watching Hundley give that guy the T-Rich?
  3. Outside of two big runs, we've owned the trenches.
  4. How about them apples? I stand by my prediction.
  5. I know it took three plays, but that's a fast enough start for me!
  6. It's no surprise to me, they have been playing lights out. Our SOS just keeps getting stronger.
  7. UA: 45 BG: 24 UA's DL will punish BG, Akron will get in rhythm early for a change.
  8. I can't believe all of the whining on this forum. GP1 is right, there is a huge talent disparity between these teams. UCF will be a top 25 team, if not a top 15 by the end of the year. Good news, we didn't sustain any major injuries to my knowledge. Our secondary needs to step it up, and we need to run block better. Everything else looked pretty good, especially the pass rush (which was nonexistent last year). I do see improvement. Also, we were 1-1 on extra points!!!
  9. I wasn't underestimating them, they are a fantastic FCS team, If Akron, or any other team in the MAC played the entire Southern conference, I would expect at least a 7-2 record. That's not disrespect, the FCS has fine players in it, just not enough to compete regularly with the FBS.
  10. Regardless, I wasn't going to say it first, but I believe the UCF game is winnable game also. I just wasn't going to be the first to say it.
  11. With all due respect to App State, we are not an FCS team. I expect far more from us than them in any given year.
  12. No team is the best team in the MAC, yet. That's why we play the schedule, We'll see who's the best late in the season.
  13. 4 wins seems about right, I'll say plus or minus one since we are Akron. 3-5 wins for sure, JMU and UMass for sure. Ball State and Miami are the most likely to fall, followed by Ken+ and BG.
  14. Watching his scout video, he looks like a great talent at DE, I don't see him at DT.
  15. Compared to years past, even considering the luxury of redshirting a whole class of O-linemen is an amazing thought. Especially since there are some real studs in that class.
  16. Yeah, I had him and Hirschman mixed up in my head, good catch. I know there are a few mistakes, I just wanted to get the discussion going. Thanks all for your input so far. I'm stoked to see the next evolution in Zips football!
  17. I'm not going to confirm or deny that!
  18. As crazy as the road has been the last 5-7 years, we ended up with Bowden, and I'm thankful for that.
  19. Good call, but I'm not aware of his current location. I'm hoping in the weight room, or doing speed drills somewhere.
  20. I think your assumption is a safe bet. That's 18 mos., not 180.
  21. I'd like to see even more targets to our big receivers (Dillard/ Pratt)

  24. I had to rep the Blue and Gold on that page. I think we should all bomb the page. I'm hoping for testy remarks.
  25. As important as this may seem to be now, it will pay huge dividends down the road when we keep expanding the Stark Co pipeline. HS coaches take notice of this.
