  1. I agree with you, but I own a pair of Akron flip flops. I find it odd when I can buy a Lowes gift card in line that has OSU, OU and BG logos on them, but not Akron...IN AKRON!!!
  2. Do what Romeo does when he selects his starting QB, flip a coin. Worked out for him. Loser went to the pro bowl.Loser of your coin toss could be the leader of the US.
  3. Your right, that is all that matters. Thank you for the update.I would much rather hear what you have to say than some "expert" at ESPN that has never seen Zeke.I really don't even care what their "film evaluation" is either. IMO you can't judge talent w/o seeing them live.
  4. I'm with you ZW, pick the Zips last EVERY year. You want respect, win the MAC and go to the dance. Then win a few there. And who cares if your 144 or 129 anyway? Both stink.
  5. Unfortunately, I found it here:Akron Police website
  6. Maybe Rasor can help us out here.
  7. You need quick shifty receivers when you use the run & shoot. Just ask Mouse Davis.
  8. Photoshop 101 my friend.
  9. I hope the Zips can have a nightmare season like that one!?!
  10. Pretty cool, I liked his answers and his nickname B Will Zach Anderson has answers too
  11. I agree with TZ. Also picking the Tennessee game back in 1989 is hardly an overview of our program today. Here are some more recent results that gives a better view of how he fair:2007 at OSU 2-20 at IU 24-412006 at PSU 16-34 at NCST 20-14 WIN2005 at Purdue 24-49PS Didn't we score 9 points against UT that game? I also think UT was a top 5 team that year.
  12. The letters "www" are commonly found at the beginning of Web addresses because of the long-standing practice of naming Internet hosts (servers) according to the services they provide. So for example, the host name for a Web server is often "www"; for an FTP server, "ftp"; and for a USENET news server, "news" or "nntp" (after the news protocol NNTP). These host names appear as DNS subdomain names, as in "www.example.com".Some Web browsers will automatically try adding "www." to the beginning, and possibly ".com" to the end, of typed URLs if no host is found without them. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Opera will also prefix "http://www." and append ".com" to the address bar contents if the Control and Enter keys are pressed simultaneously. For example, entering "example" in the address bar and then pressing either just Enter or Control+Enter will usually resolve to "http://www.example.com", depending on the exact browser version and its settings.PS I like the newer look of the website, a much needed update. Only thing it is missing is this link
  13. Read #9 response from a guy that claims he was thereI agree that I would like to see CJ take more snaps under center. As much as I dislike the 3-3-5, I might start to dislike this "spread" offense more.I sure hope that we don't line up and then look at the sidelines to get the play. Has that EVER given us an advantage? Doesn't seem like it to me.
  14. Works to my advantage, I'll be at the Rubber Bowl. They'll be plenty of Columbus St games on tv the rest of the year I can flip by with my remote.
  15. My hope is the offensive coaching staff has progressed. That is just as important as our QB play.
  16. By my math;Jacquemain has a 77.1 percent chance of starting at WisconsinRodgers has a 21.3 percent chance of starting at WisconsinOther has a 1.6 percent chance of starting at WisconsinThis calculation is for July 18, 2008 only.
  17. Was Cedrick there when the "guys" said that?I'd like to know why Ronnie was not there. Any clue?
  18. If we want to keep it "local" can we use the term "local MAC?" Then I would suggest Kalamazoo's Bell's BreweryI almost missed a Zips basketball game because of Bells. I'll take any of the three below on tap in the new stadium. If you ever go to Western to see a Zips game MAKE SURE you stop at Bell's.
  19. Agreed. In an overall season. But against the Badgers if we can't run and go quick three and outs...good night. Maybe control the clock (although I hate that term) would be a better description.
  20. OU Thread Miami Thread flush Thread BGSU Thread Nothing at UB Nothing at WM
  21. I don't know and I don't care. These Big Ten games are nothing more than preseason NFL games with little meaning (other than cold hard cash) and a lot of risk to player health.I don't know if you got to watch the last time we played the Badgers, but it was a pretty good game. I have even heard some people say the Zips got cheated out of a winWhile there is risk of getting injured, I think there is the same risk of getting injured in the Can't State game. I think we'll manage. We might even learn something that would help us in our upcoming MAC schedule.I don't think we will have the offense to put up 31, but I don't think our D will give up 48.We need to be able to run the ball to make this game competitive. (I know...duh)
  22. When is the last time we had a significant injury when we played our "pay day" big game?Badgers 08 Schedule
  23. Scheduling became a bit easier within the past year, when the administration gave him $160,000 to buy three guaranteed games, something that a number of MAC teams can't afford.
  24. Here is a quick "how to" for linking web sites for future reference. Good luck.
