I would guess Bob Shoop would be wanted on the Akron staff.

The Brian Callahan that coached for the Zips, is now the OL coach at the University of Minnesota with PJ. Bill coaches with the Browns. Callahan and his wife, Valerie, have four children: daughters Cathryn and Jaclyn, and sons Brian and Daniel. Brian serves as the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals. Dr Z replied to Dr Z's topic in Akron Zips Football
I will not be in attendance this Thursday. Sorry. Note: ZipsNation.org will get to interview coach Moorhead during spring practices. There will be more interesting information available for ZN members then. -

This is a friendly warning, If you’re not interested in a topic, simply ignore it. There is no need to insult fellow Zips fans.

Dr Z replied to Dr Z's topic in Akron Zips Football
From the ESPN article linked above: -
The stars aligned. Joe wanted to come back east and get closer to home. It's possible Guthrie was born on third. We'll see how the story unfolds.

Next time you're having a bad day, think of Akron DL coach Todd Stroud

Stress will not be an issue. Frustration will. Being here once before, he knows what he will be dealing with. I hope he is the one to create change, not only on the field, but off.

Maybe she will be the new OC, and that is how they are making the financials work? Could she be worse than Milwee?

Yep, Microsoft Edge is an issue. Surprising from a Microsoft product 🤓 @LZIpI checked the support community, and it seems Edge is an issue. I'll keep my eyes open for a fix on the next update, and let you know. Sorry. BTW, there are many issues being discussed on Edge, most often given solution, switch browsers.

Hmmm, I've had no issues. I use safari, once I paste the link, it converts immediately. Try using another browser and let me know. Possibly Chrome.

We have had twice as many guests online as we do members this week. I would encourage Zips fans browsing to join in. If anyone needs help, let me know. All the Kent fans should remain as a guest. 😂

George reports on the reports.

I would love to see Jojo get some snaps at WR, seems like the offense could use someone with Jojo's speed in a handful of situational packages. I was always impressed with his catch radius, and hands for a smaller receiver.

A decade ago, the ZN search committee come up with Joe Moorhead as their leading candidate. 😀

I'm looking forward to the future, and a new staff. Hopefully, a staff with FBS experience, and solid resumes.

Doc was born in 1957, 64 years old. Would be a good interview, but he doesn't seem like an Akron hire to me. At the very least, he is familiar with the Mac and Akron. Head coach Doc Holliday Postgame Interview after Akron (9/17/2016) (terrible audio)
