I think it is a really good hire for the program. My only snag is that Terry seems like the kind of coach who will always have his eye on the next job. Does anyone else get that sense? That is the first thing that popped into my head when I read about it. If it is not, then God Bless him. If it is, then hopefully he will leave the program in a better place than he found it.

Thoughts and some info that you may or may not know... Hated to see Harney with headphones on on the sidelines, just low class. Though he did seem to be somewhat involved in the game and cheering on his teamates, just something that ticked me off. Alex is having his surgery tomorrow, 10 day to 3 week recovery period, VCU will be the 10th day... But he wants to play vs VCU so im sure he will give it a go KD said postgame that the reason of the blowout was because YSU has little depth and they played Saturday and play again Thursday. YSU sat two of its best players over the last 5-6 minutes, had they went full go the whole game I bet the score would have been a 10-15 pt win (for Akron). KD is my hero, I love him... 4 min left up 25 and he was stomping like a madman after we gave up a 3, I know everyone is used to that but I still love to see stuff like that. He also had CJ step out of bounds with a minute left to get a dead ball and a chance to put Kyle in, Ive never seen that. CJ Oldham is my second hero, he shows a lot of energy on the bench despite little playing time. Go Zips

@ Gozips... 12:30 practice again tomorrow? I would have said hello last week, but like you I cannot put a face to a zipsnation profile. I am kind of a younger guy, and sat in the middle behind the scorers table last week.

I heard a rumor that a local company offered to give the gym floor a brand new floor for free, like a sand down, refinish and new artwork and stuff... but apparently they are sticking with the piss yellow ugly floor they have now because they are under contract with another company Think about how much better a new looking floor would look on tv

I coach a 7th grade CYO team, St. Sebastian's in Akron. This past Thursday we got to have practice at the JAR. For the very reasonable price of $100, we were given a 2 hour practice window,with acess to the side baskets and the scoreboard. I grabbed the other 7th grade team so we had 16 kids and 3 coaches making the $100 about $5 a man. I emailed Coach Wygan a few days before asking him, if he was around, to come and speak to the boys during practice. He was happy to do this, and he also brought with him Nik Cvetinovic. Both men gave the boys a seperate 5 min speech about working hard, seperating yourself from the rest, yada yada. I thought it was a very nice gesture by them and made our special night that much better. The boys had a great time at practice. Just thought Id share, Go Zips

False... We only need to win enough games to get us a home game during round 1 of the tournament. The only pure must wins will come at the Q. Sure it would be nice to win but we will play again even if we don't.

Also, I know I contradicted myself with my last comment but it needed to be said. It seems like everyone, especially Nik and Mcknight struggle with putbacks and 1 on 1's downlow

As UAzip said in his original post... They need to settle on a starting lineup. Besides the Mcknight suspension, the coaching staff has no excuses not to have one by now as veryone has been healthy and able to practice Why not start Mcknight? I know he has not been playing well, but maybe it is because coming off of the bench isn't his thing this year. I, like KD thought it was a good idea at the time of his return to bring him off the bench but he has not been playing well and clearly needs a spark. Abreau, Mclanahan, Mcknight, Nik, Zeke... very versatile 5 IMO Also... Dear Brett McKnight, for the love of God please learn/get better at finishing around the rim.

Pretty dissapointing, but thankfully/hopefully/IhopetoGodso these fans will be nowhere to be found Saturday. These next two games will be big for our overall fan support for the rest of the year. Saturday will be packed (although Im sure not like last year) and then Wednesday, vs Ohio and celebrating our soccer championship should have a nice crowd as well. KD has back to back wins + 4.5 days + no travel + no injuries + no school for the boys... Can't ask for much more than that... No excuses vs Can't

If anyone has the game tivoed, at 3:00 left in the game you can here KD as clear as day yell "I don't give a f***" at Nik... commentators responded by saying "Dambrot clearly frustrated" or something like that I think KD is the best coach in the MAC but I agree with whoever stated earlier about a coach needing to be brought in for Zeke. Jeff Boals left for OSU whoever was wondering that. I know at Michigan State Izzo has assistants specifically for the perimeter guys and the inside guys. I don't know if we have anything like that, but we should if we don't.

Agreed... Should Can't lose its good to see that its a heartbreaker... However, must root for ALL MAC teams in ALL OOC games, if we want whats best for the Zips in the long run
