  1. Did he punch anyone? Or throw somebody down the stairs? I want a mean nasty MLB. Someone who likes to hurt people!
  2. Why the sad face? Don't worry you will get them. I think it is great that they ran out. That just means more people in the stands. We all have to show some patience with this process. The ticket office is used to 1,500 season ticket holders but now they have over 6,000. I think we all agree it is better to double check the packages before they get sent out wrong.
  3. Someone told me last weekend at the stadium open house, that all season tickets will be sent out or delivered all throughout this week. Some parking passes (depending on date purchased, specific lot, etc.) will be sent separately from season tickets. If you haven’t received your tickets and/or parking by September 1, I would contact the Z-Fund office or the ticket office

I saw a few minutes of practice on Friday and Tonga was on the sidelines. Although he did not look hurt to me. Bain was in uniform and working out with the team. This guy is a beast. Hopefully he can will play this season.

  6. Here is what JoePa said at the Big Ten Media Day:And Penn State’s Joe Paterno, doing his best Lou Holtz impression in discussing his team’s season opener: “We'll have our troubles with Akron. Akron is a well-coached football team.” But we’ll win by three touchdowns.
  7. How do our lights look any different? The lights behind the stands are the originals. The lights in the corners were added by the NFL for TV games.

  17. A little birdie told me he will be a Zip.Emmanuel LarteyLartey headed to Louisville? By Mike HughesEditor and PublisherPosted Mar 2, 2009 Emmanuel Lartey, a three-star cornerback from College Park (GA) Banneker, recently received a qualifying ACT score. Now, he’s looking for a college that has room for him next season. Is Scout.com’s No. 50 cornerback headed to Louisville? Louisville offered Emmanuel Lartey a scholarship early in the recruiting process, but the talented defensive back signed with Coffeyville (KS) C.C. on national signing day because he didn’t have a qualifying test score at the time. Now with his qualifying ACT score in the books – he received a 22 on his most recent attempt - Lartey is hoping Louisville has room for him next season.“That’s one of the teams we’re waiting to hear from,” Lartey said. “They had offered me before signing day and thought that I was going to make it but I signed with a JUCO team. I signed with Coffeyville – that’s the junior college team Louisville wanted me to go to.”Lartey said his coach contacted Louisville last week. Lartey said Monday that he is still awaiting word from the Cardinals.“I just sent my scores to them (Louisville) and I’m waiting to hear back from them,” Lartey said. “We haven’t contacted any other schools yet because we’re waiting to see what Louisville says. My coach said we’ll probably hear back from them this week.”Akron and South Carolina State are also possibilities, according to Lartey.

  19. You need to check the info on his mom. It was printed in the Canton Rep his mother left North Canton to help Erick's sister in Washington State. He went with her and was going to stay out there but he wanted to come back in NC. His teammates paid for a one way ticket so he could come back. He missed a lot of summer ball and did not being the season as a starter. His mother gave the coach permission for him to live there while she was out of state. You also left out the part where his father was killed in an industrial accident a few years ago. I am sure that playes a big part in his getting into trouble.Link to Story
