What about Tom Stacy. I know he was part of the former coaches staff but he has a very good football mind. He also did a wonderful job with Frye. He has said he wants to get back into college football. Although he might have to take a pay cut from his current job Massillon Tiger Head Football Coach.

How about changing #1 to not looked at. Go back and watc hthe game last night. Only 2 or 3 times did CJ11 look at somebody other than JA12. He would take the snap and watch JA12 the WHOLE time and then either thorw it to him or throw it away. Let's at least give the other guys a chance befroe we blast them for not catching a ball.

I saw him play last Friday night on Fox Sports Pittsburgh. He was making our DB verbal Marvase (sp) Bryd look bad. He is a tall lanky kid with speed.A side note on Byrd he injured his ankle around the middle of the game and never returned. I hope it was just a bad night because before the injury he did not impress me on defense. Although I must say he is a very good RB.

Leading up to this game I was very hard on J.D. But I must say I loved what I saw last night. He had a fire in his eyes from the start. He was out on the field cheering, yelling and teaching his players. I think the players feed off of this and had an extra hop in thier step. I hope we see much more of this type of coaching in the future.

I think it is pretty clear JD will be back next year. Some may agree and some may disagree he should come back. But the Zips do not have the money to pay out his contract. So what changes should and need to be may. I am going to start things off with keep palyers on the team. Why were the starters still in the game during the 4th quarter? The Zips have a game in 5 days and there waszero chance of a come back. Why not let the second team kids play for a quarter. Also how about the freshman playing special teams getting more PT with the defense. They need the experience for next season.JD looked lost on the sidelines evertime they showed him. "I thought the DB's played to loose coverage in the first half" Ok here is a clue you are the freaking coach after the first BG drive that was pretty aparent. Walk your ass over to the D-Coordinator and them him Hey play tighter coverage on the BG WR. BG ran the same passing plays all night long. Zero adjustments were made by the Zips. Tell me who is coaching this team because I really can't tell.

I think the rule is if the game is not on the ESPN family then ZipsZone will have the video. So with the game being on the ESPNU there will no video on ZipsZone. I think the rules stinks myself but as we all know ESPN rules the sporting world.

QuickZips I am going to throw some facts at you why I think UCONN is ahead of us in Div. IA Football. These by no way are excuses because I agrre with you.1. I agree but the top talent goes to OSU. And the next level goes to other Big Ten Schools or other BCS schools. But this still leaves some darn good talent. We the local kids don't want to stay home so they go to other MAC schools or CUSA schools. So that just leaves us with PA kids. They all the ones we want are going to Pitt even though were are a head of them. Hopefully the realize Coach Wann at Pitt is really bad.2. We had only had this for a few years. And now the final piece will be in place in 2009. (I hope....). Now the kids can use the filed house and also play in a top notch stadium which is now on campus. I hope this will be the final thing to get kids away from other BCS shcools.3. Once again this just happened a few years ago. When the Zips made the jump from I-AA onlu Coach Faust was on board with this. The rest of admin could have cared less. And this carried through until Mike Thoams cam on board. So again.

I agree with all the above.I say Calm Down to all the negative people.Yes we did get waxed in the second half but come on. The D just ran out of gas in the second half. Remember they put all they had into last weeks game. I really don't think the Zips were really 100% into the game from the start. Next week is huge. They need to regroup and come out strong and get to 2 - 0 in the MAC.

I looked on DirecTV's website and they list a Big East Game on Channel 43. I would say this game will be on there.

CJ needs to work on letting the WR finish their routes before running with the ball. I am sure after looking at the film Fuqa will get some balls next week.
