The Zip defense was helped a lot by field position for much of the 1st half. They need to pick up the play considerably when FIU has decent field position.

Good to hear JT is there. There's no doubt that a "winning football team" doesn't let that score happen like that at the end of the half. Let's hope our Zips are learning to become that kind of team, a team that smells blood and goes for the jugular when it matters.

Noboby is arguing that your scenario isn't preferred. It's the 2nd college game ever for a lot of these players. We're going to have to swallow some bad wth the good with this team, especially early on. Sure it was an opportunity lost and it may end up costing them the game in the end. But are you seriously whining about a 20-14 lead in a game in which you go in as a 23 1/2 point underdog?????
