We made a great choice with Bowden as a coach. I was at the game today and watched Coach Bowden cheering on the zips like a true fan. Thats what we need in Akron.

The quality of the commercials are terrible. When they come on, it seems to be a public access channel.

Its great on the same link on the left side is about TB's warrant for his arrest a court issued. But we all forget to pay speeding tickets.

How about making a student section that starts at the floor and goes all the way up behind each of the two baskets. Just look at the VCU crowd. Not many people even sat in the Upper GA behind the baskets, so a large section could be placed on each side or at least of the two sides. We could also look to build on the JAR to make it a larger facility such as adding another level. I thought a remembered the architect had something in the plans to allow an expansion to be placed on the JAR.

I listened to the presser on 1350 and I don't know about the resta y'all but I raised my fist in the air when he said that part about the Wagon Wheel. To me the Wagon Wheel doesn't mean as much as winning the conference and bowl games. I mean I hate Can't just like everyone else, but I want to to strive to be bigger and better, thus leaving Can't in the dust!!! Can't is a big win for Akron. For me at least beating Can't is like OSU beating Michigan. I agree. I had the same feeling of raising my fist in the air when I heard that. They should bring Bowden in for the Can't game in a few weeks to address the fans to hype up the Akron crowd. It would be great.

Associate AD, George Van Horne. Class guy. I'll second that. George is a great guy and will do anything for true zip fans. I had a few problems with my tickets this year and he stepped in and made things right. From my understanding he is working on something big for the JAR, with regards to a major upgrade for the fans.

Steve is a volunteer coach now and I've seen Bardo at practices this year. I know that Steve has sat behind the basket near the Akron bench every game this season and goes to the locker room with the team. With regards to Bardo, I am unaware of his role.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think you can. If you have Direct TV and $13 sports package. Zeke TV! I just added the sports package to my Directv service and I live in the South. It was only an additional $8 per month. The show was great. The only problem was the advertisements within it. They are too outdated and most of the businesses should consider updating them ASAP.

I'll second this. I just hope the university remembers the fans that stuck through the team during the past few years.

I just hope that we see at least a .500 season next year. That would help Akron immensely.

Was at the basketball game again this evening. Also heard there may be an announcement tomorrow. My money is on tomorrow. Just from the chatter at the game tonight, it seems like it is going to happen.

I liked how they apologized for causing people to drive their cars off the road. So... were they joking? There's not much activity on ZNO tonight. I'd figure that if ZNO posters heard that one, and took it seriously, then ZNO would be blowing up right now. Most of the posters were probably at the game and didn't hear it. I was driving home when they apologized on the radio. It was kind of funny that it was actually about an upcoming bus trip. He said they thought they were off the air when he said what he said. So it could be true.
