I know. This is just frustrating. The best run of the game was bust out by Hundley. The Best pass play of the game was thrown by Pohl. WHY aren't we going with the hot hands more?

Maybe in the MAC...we're still in this damn game...let's actually try to WIN this one.

I'm so confused what's going on right now. Why did we switch Pohl out, and why do we stop even trying to throw the ball or use Conor Hundley? Are we trying to lose the game? I'm a Chapman, and Bowden supporter...but this is kinda a joke coach.

Akron is playing this game right. End of the 1st down 0-3 on the road. The defense is taking the crowd out of this game, I barely hear them. Minimizing the chance for turnovers. Smart football.

Politics is a guilty pleasure of mine Dave. And I also think Bliss is a Treasure so I'm really interested in this initiative.

Nice commercial. Very well done. Love it! Except for the part explaining Polytechnic...when you need to explain a word about your identity in the middle of a commercial about yourself...it just sounds a little wierd.

I remember suggesting that we Zip fans get together and organize this kind of stuff in advance, and come up with a regular timetable so we could just say where and when and the legwork would be done in advance so long as we'd all agree to go to those local establishments, but no one was interested at all.

It's not an insult either. He usually chimes in on conversations about seating capacity...and with Akron circles there's been considerable conversation on the seating capacity of our baseketball arena.

So the focus of the center would by lobbying? Recruiting? I guess I'm confused on what the Bliss Institute would specifically be doing as it pertains to those two places and UA. I'm all for it, but I'm curious what exactly a "Center" would be doing. The Bliss Inters are placed into the policitcal/governmental process by working in it, what would a Center be doing to support that I guess is what I'm curious about.

Some of those, IMO, go in the category of "why haven't we already been doing that?" So perhaps I'm willing to give credit, where credit is due. Specifically 1, 2, 8, 9, 10. I was a Bliss Institute Intern, wonderful thing...But I need to hear details about it a "Center" in Columbus. What exactly would be the point of the center? Interns go to Columbus to study/get practical experience in the Legislature/Government...what would the Center be doing? 3, 5, 6, 7 are somewhat unnecessary IMO. Especially at the tune of some $5. Perhaps if a rich Alumnus is willing to dish out for it...than go ahead. Seems like frivolous spending, especially when this administration labeled EJ Thomas Hall programing as such an expense.

Chipps stil giving the Cowboys hell. I bet Oklahoma State thought they were just going to walk into CMU and wipe their feet with the Chips. Sooner fans should take notice.

Nor was I poking at you in a mean manner. I'm just pointing out that the expectation of blowing out the Zips, which is help by most Sooner fans, is somewhat missplaced. This won't be the same cupcake season opener that big teams are accustomed too. Though I could be wrong, this is why we play the game.

23-21 Akron. Ballgame, goodnight everybuddy. Chuck Amato exploits the green offensive line early, and often. The Zips' front seven haras Mayfield the entire game. The Zips offense is able to move the Ball effectively, but not pretty to look at. Oklahoma fans go home extremely upset as Terry Bowden and the Zips pull of the season's biggest upset in Week 1. Call me a homer, but Go Zips!
