  1. NIU starting to believe they can win this.
  2. Wynn nailed to the bench tonight.
  3. I wonder if they haven't intentionally slown things down due to the lack of depth, but yikes, there are stretches where watching the offense is like watching paint dry. These teams had a combined 1 point on fast breaks in the first half. Must have been a fast break free throw.
  4. The Zips took only 17 shots in the first half and had 9 turnovers.
  5. Another fine job of letting the opponent back into a game.
  6. ...while 4 guys watch.
  7. Shot clock violation. Ugh.
  8. Reghi described the JAR as "legendary and venerable" in the intro. LOL.
  9. NIU doubling when Freeman puts the ball on the floor.
  10. 1 for 10 with an unnecessary technical foul may have been the cause.
  11. I have no issue with that. Maybe, just maybe, it wakes those two up. I think Freeman and Aziz are starting to figure out how to play together.
  12. We can only hope. They haven't had more than a 3 point lead at half since CMU 7 games ago on January 25th when they led by 7.
  13. He was a true Zips fan and a good guy. He was just a little misguided on that one!
  14. Do you ZipsNation old timers recall the poster years ago that told us he had it on strong authority that the Zips were joining the ACC?
  15. 196 days to the opener!
  16. That's why I used the CAPS.
  17. SEC baby, SEC.
  18. Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Louisville, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Wake Forest, Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Virginia, Virginia Tech and THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON.
  19. Malique Jacobs is really solid for them. He doesn't jump out at you for his offense but contributes substantially in many other statistical categories.
  20. ACC or AAC?
  21. He's just become a little too predictable, especially with that back down move. He also started drawing the opponents' best or second defender based on his early success.
  22. I wasn't trying to stir up a debate, just pointing out he may be the best traditional big in the MAC. He rebounds at a much higher level than Carter, scores and blocks about the same and has a significantly higher FG percentage. I agree all three of those guys are the prime candidates for MAC POY, with Rollins the favorite.
  23. Well fine, but are you ready to give up Tuesday night football?
  24. Freeman certainly has an argument for being the best traditional big/post player in the MAC. His stats are considerably better than guys like Mballa and Carter.
