  1. It was actually 800 pennies, 20 nickels and 10 dimes.
  2. Wow, draftkings has it at PCCC -1 (essentially a pick 'em) and the under/over at 143.
  3. I think tonight will come down to which team's "support players" step up. Enrique, Ali. Payton and Sullinger will likely get theirs', so I think a guy like Sammy or VonCameron Davis could be the real difference makers in the game.
  4. The first time Mr. Pinky sends a double team at Enrique to help out Payton he will have clearly cast his vote as to who he thinks is the better player.
  5. Good call. I just looked and I initially read the game stats backwards and saw 12/16 as his last rather than first game. WMU has some nice bigs but I;d sure play that kid more than the 18 minutes a game he's been averaging.
  6. Tragic. Absolutely tragic. Prayers for his family.
  7. The team has had a tendency over the years to get caught watching, instead of moving, when the ball goes into the post or Ali starts backing his defender down.
  8. I just hope they're all past the bug that's been going through the team.
  9. Where there's smoke there's.....................smoke.
  10. Article on how Payton believes Enrique has made him a better player- https://www.beaconjournal.com/story/sports/college/kent-state/2024/01/18/akron-zips-kent-state-golden-flashes-mens-basketball-rivalry-game-mac-chris-payton-enrique-freeman/72113973007/
  11. I did see Freeman during a break in the action urge his teammates to keep moving when he had the ball in the post.
  12. That Brown kid as a load. He hadn't played since 12/16. UConn to Texas A&M to WMU. Quite a journey.

  14. PCCC welcomes the Zips into the Portage County Animal Husbandry Center Friday night to renew the rivalry. The 9-8 Flushes got back on the beam last night with a win at DeKalb. They’ve dealt with many illnesses and injuries so far. Mr. Pinky has used a number of lineups and last week held their top scorer, Sullinger, out of the starting lineup. The game is to be broadcast on ESPNU. Sullinger leads scoring at 14.7 ppg while Payton leads rebounding at 8.1 rpg while contributing 14.6 ppg. The Zips main goal between now and Friday, per Groce, is to get healthy.
  15. Between his sickness and the number of times he had to yell at the refs tonight he was pretty hoarse!
  16. Groce said in the post-game that an illness is going through the team. Tribble missed the last two practices then gutted out 16 minutes. Even Groce is sick. Dawson getting on the floor for that loose ball tonight was the play of the game.
  17. Dawson with the hustle play of the night.
  18. Tribble must be sick. Not even on the bench.
  19. Well, they found their whistles ( in their keesters with their heads).
  20. We have 10 on the cheer squad and 12 on the dance team and none of them are better cheerleaders than Evan Wilson.
  21. It's time for Dawson to get hot.
  22. Frustrating last 4 or 5 minutes of the half.
  23. White non-contact knee injury. Kid was really hurting.
  24. The called a really soft one 10 seconds into the game then put away their whistles.
  25. Biggest student attendance in a long while. Ugly game so far.
