The good news unless I am wrong is if Akron can play and win this they will get many RPI points.

Also Pitt had a few good plays but we should have scored 5 goals. Their keeper made a few saves and we missed some golden opportunities. I was not that impressed by that team. Pittsburghs opportunities seemed to come off of our mistakes and there weren't many of them. I think we were the significantly better team.

EZ was lucky not to get a red card. After the yellow card he was barking to the ref and after that he took a water bottle out of the Pitt trainers hand and then threw it at his feet when he was done. Very lucky, Jared took him out right away and it looked like he got a talking to. I don't know if the yellow card was warranted. Didn't look like it to me but he can't do the stuff after the play like he did. He was out of control.

I had a friend at the game today....never been to an Akron soccer game - good game to be at. He loves the international flavor of the starters. He wondered how it was possible for the men to win the MAC so many times and the women to never win it? Seems hard to believe.

Great game. Let's hope that continues on Wednesday. Sorry I have no interest in staying for the women's game. Will Shultz be back?

Does anyone have an idea why there isn't at least a college cup banner from last years season at First Energy Stadium? There obviously is the championship banner and the two runner up banners, but no college cup banner? I think the more of those banners we have the better.
