I think attendance has dropped because enrollment has dropped. When I went to Akron there was a student body of 27K. Now I hear it’s barely 12K. Graduating fewer alumni. I think a lot of MAC schools are facing this issue. I think only Ohio & Kent are over 20K in student body. I think Miami is close(17K) but they are private. Correct? a lot of urban universities enrollments are declining. look at YSU, CSU.

Simply put. Who may come to Groce with an offer? personally I don’t think there is any scenario where he would leave this year but you never know. would he jump to the Big Ten again or go A10 or Big East. i really don’t see a conference better than the MAC outside of the power 5.

Since D’Antoni is out at Marshall. I wonder if Fulford is being considered as a candidate. Or with some of the smaller colleges having HC openings. Should we expect changes to the coaching staff

Unpopular opinion. I was looking for game winning shot stats per player. I couldn’t find. I think Groce needs to look who is 5 best players are at closing out wins. I don’t think it’s Tribble and I’m on the fence about Ali. this is a conference where only 1 team gets to March Madness. Starting Friday. You have to play that way until the season is over. im tired of the wake up call mentality. Find your best 5 in the closing minutes of the 2nd half and ride that horse. If it’s 2 Sr’s, a JR and 2 SOPH. Then that’s what you go with. I thought Tavari & RPJ played good. Ironically those are the 2 I’m most worried about transferring out. it’s a balancing act for sure but you can’t play favorites now. You gotta win.
