He obviously practices with the team. He is a part of the team. He is learning the playbook etc. He just can't suit up for and play in any games like against VMI or at Wisconsin, or any other game on the 2016 schedule.

Unless he received a transfer exception, I think he can only practice with the team this year since he has to sit out of games this year due to NCAA FBS to FBS transfer rules. So if he has to sit out this year, then he can suit up for games for the Zips in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

What I meant in my previous post was that if he begins classes on Monday, then maybe he will appear on the roster.
