    WR Snodgrass never appeared on the roster and neither did TE Darryl Long. Both were supposed transfers from Kentucky. If you look at Long's twitter, he indicates association with Akron football. Snodgrass' twitter does not. I am not sure what it means if anything, but Snodgrass is also following a bunch of coaches from other schools.

    Bubba Arslanian has a walk on offer from Ohio State. His recruiting situation so far seems somewhat similar to the Hunter Renfrow story.

    in 2015 Woodson established himself as a dual threat QB when he rushed for a respectable 603 yards on the season. I wonder why through the first four games in 2016 he managed to rush for only 4 positive yards: 13 yards vs. VMI - 13 yards vs. Wisconsin - 2 yards vs. Marshall 6 yards vs. Appalachian State He seemed to lose the mobility he displayed in 2015. Even Tyrell Goodman ended up the season with more rushing yards than Woodson.

    Congratulations to 2017 Zips commit DB Reggie Corner (5-10, 195, Sr.), McKinley (Canton) on being named to the 2016 American Family Insurance ALL-USA Ohio Football Team as a member of the First Team DEFENSE which was announced recently by USA TODAY High School Sports.

    I remember that Woodson appeared to injure his throwing arm shoulder during the Potato Bowl game when he was tackled and hit his shoulder hard against the turf. Although he finished the game at QB, his current shoulder problems may have started from that.

    Akron should try to get Torrodney Prevot to play Weak Side DE to fill the hole left by Jamal Markus. He is a graduate transfer from the Oregon Ducks and would be eligible to play immediately.
