Not feelin the bowl folks ................. Hoping to see a nice finishing victory, an improved record from last year (although disappointing given the 4-2 start), and hopefully a quality recruiting class and some Coaching changes that are needed

UA was a plus 2 in the turnover column ....................... To Coach Bowden's point Win the turnover stat ............ Win most games Also ......... Pohl had a respectable game. Good management and took care of the ball ...................... Classic Pohl (from my minimal time seeing him) .............. If UA is up and in control, he does fine. When we get in a tight game or behind, he freezes and forces everything Still SO much work to do on the O-Line

It is a great play to set up multiple opportunities later in the game ..................... It bothers the crap out of me to watch the offensive play calling as you can see (without any play calling knowledge), that the play calling has no rhythm (or doesn't appear to) Other than situation play calling (third and 1, etc), a play called should have a purpose for later in the game (double moves on press coverage, deeper out routes, loosen the LB's for run plays etc.) But maybe I'm wrong ..............

My mistake, I thought you were referring to Tommy Brown LOL ............ We may want to be careful labeling our future opponents as teams that "suck" ..................... I believe I saw threads from the Buffalo, Ohio and Ball State that labelled them the same. LOL

Maybe ............. Just maybe, that's why they are not on the CSU and OSU rosters anymore .......................... Just sayin Talent with no fight is no talent at all !!!!! ......................... That would be the "character" that Coach Bowden speaks of !! That's the set of dice you roll with transfers (especially those that have dismissed from other teams) ..................... Unfortunately I have not seen many transfers that were dismissed, that become solid leaders on another team Expectation can be a biatch !!!!

Hell a lot of pressure would be taken off immediately if our WR's would simply CATCH the damn ball And there is absolutely no play calling scheme ..................... running the short out patterns and bubble screens are worthless if there is no plan to use them as set up's for double moves and deeper patterns ........ and to "setup" the run is only possible when you run pass patterns to loosen up the middle for the run. I have seen no indication that this kid has any pattern of play calling or a knowledge of setting up for future plays.

Thanks for adding ,,,,, My only slight concern is if these transfers come with some leadership skills. Right on point about the transfers. After three recruiting classes, there should be much less need for transfers (although there will always be some) O-Line is crucial to shore up .......... This is where some well timed transfers or JUCO guys would help out. Looks to me that we have the young talent, just need some experience and stability

OK ..... Want to get all you veteran fans opinions. I have looked through Coach Bowdens 2 signing classes (2013 and 2014) and also looked at the films of each. As much as everyone has lost faith in this years team and where the program is or is not headed, I truly believe that the talent level in these two classes is without doubt a dramatic step up in talent from what I see on the field in the upper classman. I think that this is pretty important to look at as it does show the opportunity upcoming for the program And although the 2015 class is kind of up in the air, the commits seem to be in the same mold as the first two signing classes ... The transfers sitting out that are eligible next year seem to be studs, as long as the attitudes are in check Another year I know, another disappointment ..... alot of hype and expectation shot down. BUT, hope should still be alive (LOL) O-line and D-line appear to have been addressed ...... D-line weight average is about 272 (of the recruits) and appear quick on film (LOL, the dog I have in the hunt committed for 2015 is at 250 lbs and hopes to be at 260 when he comes in June) Couple of bigger receivers ..... Let's hope they can catch A little bit bigger at corner and safety ...... Let's hope they are physical !! Just some thoughts over coffee while searching for some positives for you guys !!!!

Biggest let down for me was the quit in the defense .... Getting pushed around by guys 60 pounds heavier makes a long night sure ..... But the LB's were not fitting in gaps, d-line and LB's were filling the same gaps ...... Not much line stunting at all (key IMO against guys averaging that much more) ........ Just simply out of position all night My son called it ....... The defense has lost confidence that the next guy is gonna do his job .... So everyone is playing chase defense.

When Bowden talks about recruiting "high character" kids, it is not only off the field but on the field ....... Two things you can do when you get punched in the mouth ........ Fight or quit !! I believe we saw the character of the team at this point ...... It's unfortunate, but let's hope that the young class of 14 and the upcoming class of 15 recruits have a hell of a lot more fight in them !! It is a cliche but true ....... You have to know how to win. Not sure what type of team this is at practice, film study, weight room ....... But changing "the culture", is difficult. Transfers are definitely needed for another year or two, but let's face it, there is a reason that these kids are being dismissed from other schools. I might recommend staying at the juco level for transfers. ....... Not saying they are all bad kids (don't know them)..... But again, there is a reason they were dismissed ...... Just sayin
