Just win ...... Win games, have a much better opportunity to recruit and get the kids to fit the brand ....... If you don't win, does "the brand" mean anything ? During the recruiting process of my son, Coach Bowden has talked a lot about his 5 year plan to get UA to a respected level in the NCAA and how that plan has served him well at the other schools he successfully rebuilt or started. He has said on more than one occasion that it can be frustrating and unpopular at different point, but it works. I believe he realizes that he has to make some bold and unpopular moves to keep that plan on track !! Just some thought ....... I still believe in Coach Bowden. The right track is not always smooth but I still believe UA is on it !!!

I'm not yet familiar enough with the players but it was pretty crystal clear that Woodson completely lost his confidence and was not comfortable in the second half ....... Obviously the coaches couldn't get the kid calmed down, so would the smarter move (if not ready to put Pohl in the game) have been to go with this Hirschman guy? Sounds like Monday morning QB'ing but I was curious ...... Is Hirschman that bad ? Or worse than Woodson was ?

I would have to ask that the Woodson project stop NOW please

Just win baby !!! This will be a non-issue when we win Saturday No matter which QB is on the field ............. I believe that Coach B and staff have no interest in losing and will make the decision as to which one gives us the best chance to win Will everyone hold the same opinion in the chance that Woodson starts tomorrow and throws for 300 yards and 3 TD's with 0 INT's ? My guess would be no, most would be all on board And if Pohl returns to the helm and has an equally great game .................. We will be doing the "see I told you so" posts !!! LOL Us fickle fans

So here may be a crazy question, but why not give the full time paid students tickets to all home games for free (I believe they have to pay currently?) ? The increase in student attendance (given they go), would improve the atmosphere which may generate more paid attendance. Why not try it as there is currently no revenue in empty seats period. At least they could increase concessions some ..................... Certainly wouldn't hurt in my opinion Game days and times are still an issue though

As it appears our conference home schedule is pretty week this year ........... Does that mean that next year, the home conference schedule provides more favorable games ? And would a home in home with Cincinnati help wet the appetites ? .................... Can Coach Bowden also schedule any opportunity with Ohio State any time soon ?

I'm sure it is not an exception at all .............. I'm sure there are a number of different variations and ways that O-Lines communicate. Guess I shouldn't generalize, but I believe that by in large, you will see the center being the "orchastrator" of the assignments and blitz protections.

And then there is the aftermath after a tough game !!! LOL No offense fellas

The center position could arguably be one of the top 2 if not most important on the field (in my opinion) .............. reading defenses and calling out blitz protection and blocking assignments along with clean snaps (especially in a read option/shotgun offense) is pretty important. .................... Agreed fully Meister The LT (or RT with a lefty) is more of an athletic and protection position (although definitely in the top 3 most important) ...... Again, my opinion

I can tell you that many of those guys told my son on his visit, that they were all about to either quit or were working on transferring ...... Said that the day Coach Bowden spoke with them, they felt that things had already changed and were all in !! Nothing but positive things about all the Coaches also ................. Pretty damn good sell job from the upper class men
