Completely agreed ........ I thought the conversation was regarding fans analyzing stats and trends. My point to that was simply that fans are fickle and if the team is winning, there isn't as much concentration on stats. As a high school coach for the past 17 years, I can without a doubt tell you that stats and trends/tendencies are the beginning point for most coaches...... At the end of the day (or game) ..... The only stat that matters is the score. ........ When you win, people could give a rats a$$ about the "trends" .... When you lose or are used to losing, people will look to stats and trends to try to justify losing No offense to anyone, just my worthless opinion ?

Watched the game on the internet ...... Seems to be a slow starter. Missed some reads and receivers dropped more balls ..... Responded well in my opinion. The o-line certainly didn't help early with the penalties and not being able slow down a THREE MAN RUSH !!! Not sure there are many QBs that are going to be successful with 8 in coverage and three d-linemen getting good pressure Still think the offense needs to establish the run earlier ..... The run was there from the opening snap. Good win ...... Still lots to work on but definitely positives to build on

Not much negotiating power until the MAC can secure some more big wins against the Power 5 conferences (or whatever they are calling them)................ As I agree that the AD's in the conference are the ones on the hook for the contract negotiations (good or bad), I assume the sure money is more comfortable to them than taking the chance of selling more tickets and missing out on the sure bet .................. Just my opinion Winning cures many ailments !! By the way ................ I also hate week day games !!!!

Coach Bowden's decision to experiment is like most as a Head Coach ........... If you win, you look like a genius, if you lose, you look like a moron !! Nature of the job ............... My thought is that he seems to be challenging Pohl's competitive psyche quietly and not screaming and yelling and making it a media affair I think all is fine

Zippy ..... I'm serious when I say that I really feel something special coming together .... Coach Bowden and staff have been right on point thus far with everything they have told myself and my son and do seem to have a plan. They seem to realize the ups and downs of rebuilding and I was most impressed with the way they reacted to the Marshall drubbing. There biggest point so far in recruiting my boy has been to find good kids that KNOW how to win and what it takes. From the weight room to the practice field to the classroom. Just seems way more believable than comfortable than all the other schools that have been recruiting him
